Karima Gore: "The pitch is a very good pitch. I think once pace on the ball comes out, very nice, slow balls hold a bit; I think that's the difficult part. [Teammates] They were just asking me what the pitch is doing. So I just gave them a short explanation of what will happen from now on, from the bowlers. Most of the time, when the bowlers bowl slower, they want to know what kind of ball, and I just pass on information."

They lost their opener, Andrew, in the first over, and Cornwall struggled with the new ball before heading back to the pavilion.
