11.20pm So that's that for today's action. We saw a Spiceman special on the day he became the highest run-scorer in CPL history. We also saw a Pooran special, after he went past Gayle for the most sixes in T20s in a calendar year. There was also a sublime knock by Kyle Mayers which was oozing class. And a record run chase. Do stay tuned on ESPNcricinfo because a Test match hung in the balance should be getting decided in the next few hours. This is Abhimanyu signing off on behalf of Binoy George. Goodnight/good day and good bye, folks.
11.10pm Time for the presentation ceremony.
Kieron Pollard: "Obviously disappointed with the last game. Patriots batted well and conditions were good for batting. We practiced here last night and saw the ball was coming onto the bat. [On Jason Roy] Very, very happy. It would have done him more bad than good if we played him in the Oval [the last game]. This was always going to be a better wicket so it would give him confidence going into the back end."
Andre Fletcher: "I'm pleased to be honest. People tend to remember the good things. I am happy to put out a good total for the team. Unfortunately we didn't get over the line. Kyle played well also. I couldn't have asked for anything better with the ball. But the thing is dropping five catches is not done, especially of a player like Pooran. We have dropped 28 catches this season, and that cost us. We will try to keep the team as close as possible. We had good team bonding. Normally when teams lose there tends to be some bickering, but we never have that."
Nicholas Pooran is the player of the match: "We just had to get over the line. [On being dropped four times] We [him and Pollard] always try to have a big partnership."
11pm Trinbago Knight Riders bounce back in style. It looked like they were in trouble for some parts of the game, but Pooran's blistering 93* trumped Andre Fletcher's 93 in the end. Jason Roy hit a fine half-century as well. Earlier, it was half-centuries from Fletcher and Mayers that set up the 194-run target. Pooran and Pollard walk off, engaged in a lengthy conversation. TKR will be happy with the boost to their hopes of finishing in the top two. Patriots meanwhile now have the unwanted distinction of being the first team in the CPL to lose nine consecutive games.
Clarkson will bowl this penultimate over. Or will it be the final one?

Harsh S.: "All of TKR's hopes rest on Pooran and Pollard now." Especially given Dre Russ went off the field towards the end of their bowling innings. How fit he is to bat, we don't know yet.
