The scorecard would have looked a lot worse had Moeen Ali not gone berserk in the penultimate over. Some recovery allowed them to post a fighting total, just like last night, and the spinners will be salivating to turn this game on its head. Now they have a score to defend. Amir was exceptional tonight, bringing all his vast experience to the fore and bowling with unerring accuracy, especially with the new ball. He seemed to understand the track and conditions perfectly. GAW won't be pleased with their batting performance and needed some players to make handy contributions, so once again, the pressure will be on the bowlers to step up. Hayden Walsh was also stupendous with his leg breaks and googlies while Imad Wasim bowled pretty tightly but went for plenty in his last over as Moeen took him on. We'll be back shortly

JM James to Paul, 1 leg bye, On a length and zings into his pads, he swings for the grandstands and the balls raps on his pads, ricochets to cover-point and they sneak a bye

Tony D: "Cricinfo you said 130, I said 150, maybe we get 140."

JM James to Ali, OUT, Good comeback after being thwacked for a six; short of a length, getting hint of away seam movement at a tight off-stump line, missed it, keeper threw at non-striker's end and Moeen has to go back to the hut but not before doing substantial damage; a very vital knock because GAW were going nowhere

JM James to Paul, 2 runs, Is it in the gap? Slightly short and angled in at middle, touch late on the muscular pull and hunted down at deep midwicket, two runs nevertheless

JM James to Paul, SIX, That is rude! Springs down the track and disdainfully spanks it over the bowler's head for a six! Prances down the track and cruelly tonks it down

Imad Wasim to Ali, FOUR, CHOMPED DOWN THE GROUND FOR A FOUR and finishes the over on a high just like he started! Oh, this is amazing head-spinning batting, shows the value of staying out there till the end and getting set on this tricky surface and you'll get your opportunity. Everything so right about this stroke, long-on had no chance

Imad Wasim to Ali, SIX, THIS IS Unbelievable! Moeen Ali has gone berserk! Swings the next ball with panache over long-on and Imad looks crestfallen, no answer. What power, what hands, absolutely pumped it

Imad Wasim to Ali, SIX, That left a dent! That was a biggie! Once again in his hitting zone at middle and perhaps too short, allows him to rock back and loft him for a mighty long six over midwicket

Imad Wasim to Ali, SIX, Moeen breaks free! Allows it to spin towards him and whacks it with gusto way over deep midwicket, flexes his biceps and sends it on a trip to stands

Tavendra : "being a Guyanese, I am so disappointed in the pitches we have for this year CPL. Test cricket test days have faster scoring rates."

Mohammad Amir to Paul, no run, Green is not impressed that Amir went for a review without any consultation. The front foot looks fine, well behind the popping crease. Touch short and perhaps brushing the front pad as he rose with the bounce and was standing slightly outside his crease, looks like it's pitching outside leg and indeed it's pitching way outside leg - it's a terrible review

W
Mohammad Amir to Shepherd, OUT, Sticks to his guns and goes for another short ball around the line off, he goes for the hook and sends it soaring in the air but just not enough to clear the rope; well caught in the deep right under his eyes; Shepherd departs after a brief stay at the crease. GAW desperately needed him to stay out there and hit a barrage of sixes, not to be; can't repeat last night heroics
