11:43am An innings that, in honest, went nowhere. The wheels of that were set in motion during the first few overs. Joseph produced a double-wicket over in the second before removing Powell in the fourth. The rest of the bowlers followed his lead, with the spinners then taking over and tying the Royals in knots. Joseph finished with four scalps, while Chase bagged three, with Noor and Govia picking up one each. Pierre was also pretty economical.
A pretty insipid batting display overall. Only five batters managed double-digit scores, but no one passed the 21-run mark. Holder and Miller got to 21 apiece but neither could produce the rescue act the Royals were craving. They seem well behind at this stage, but crazier things have happened in this sport. And with lots of spin-power to call upon, the Royals could yet have a say in this contest. We will be back with the chase shortly.
Mikkel Govia: It was nice to come today and hit my lengths. I did not do that well in my first game. Was a bit of a relief. (On the pitch) Pretty nice to bowl and very spin-friendly. Nice to play in Guyana (smiles). (On his first wicket) A sort of relief, especially after the first game. I was a bit down on myself for not bowling in good areas. Hopefully this will give me confidence (moving forward). (On his bowling plans) It was more about the speeds I bowl. I was trying to bowl too quick (in the first game) and it was about bettering my speeds and my lengths. (On what he thinks is a par score) Maybe 130. Once our batters apply themselves, this (chase) should be okay.
Theekshana needs a bit of help with his shoelaces
Around the wicket now
Can McCoy use those long levers to clear the fence here?
Noor to bowl the final over. How many can the Royals get?

Harsh S.: "All the Kings bowlers have been going at an economy of 5 or less, remarkable." -- The innings is not over yet....
Joseph to bowl the penultimate over. Might be the first time he is bowling from this end today

Seemed as if Pierre was called upon initially to bowl but there has been a change of mind. Wiese to bowl the 18th. Around the wicket to Miller

Theekshana in at 10. The physio, meanwhile, has come out to attend to Miller. That is probably the last thing the Royals need. Govia goes over the wicket

Around the wicket to Maharaj as well. Short leg in position
