Afeef: "If not for Narine, SLK would've crossed 200 easily"

8:42pm A solid batting effort by the Kings, given they were bundled out for 100 just a couple of nights ago. Charles set the tone at the top, with captain du Plessis following suit soon after. There was a brief slow-down through the middle but the partnership between Chase and Rajapaksa laid the foundation. Chase batted till the end and his presence, coupled with cameos from Seifert and Forde, helped the Kings ransack 59 off the final five.

The Knight Riders, considering they inserted the Kings in, will be slightly disappointed with how many they have shipped. Their catching was a little sub-standard too and none of their bowlers, barring Narine, bowled consistently throughout. They have the batting firepower to still get the job done, although they might just be the unhappier of the two sides at the break. Join us in a bit for the chase!

Johnson Charles: (On how much he enjoyed his knock) I don't think I stayed long enough to enjoy it. Going forward, just looking to capitalize and putting my team in a better position. (On the pitch) There has been a lot of moisture around so for the spinners, it is a little tacky and holding up. We can make use of that but apart from that, it is coming on nicely. I think it is a pretty good total if we can stick to our lines (and lengths) and if our bowlers bowl smartly.

Waqar Salamkheil to Forde, OUT, stumping to finish off! The Kings end up with 187! Googly on a length outside off. Forde skips down the track, trying to smash it into next week. Does not get to the pitch, though, and the ball spins away enough to go past the outside edge. Pooran does the rest and that will be that for this innings!

Waqar Salamkheil to Chase, 3 runs, width outside off. Chase winds up and swishes hard at it. Not the cleanest contact but he manages to clear backward point, who eventually pulls it back but not before Chase gets three

Waqar Salamkheil to Chase, 2 runs, dropped again - the Knight Riders' catching continues to let them down! Slowed up on a length on the stumps. Chase has a huge swing at it and miscues it. Parris gets under it in the extra cover region but cannot hold on. Chase gets two for his troubles
