That's all we have from the CPL 2024 tonight. Do join us with your comments for our live coverage. And the CPL juggernaut rolls on in St Kitts tomorrow, so tune in for that. On behalf of Vairavan, Venkat and Abhimanyu, this is Sudarshanan bidding you goodbye. Till the next time, take care. Ciao!
10:30pm Let's hear from the captains
Chris Green, Falcons captain: "It is pretty similar story with the ball in all four games. The middle over, through good bowling from the opposition, we get stuck and we are not getting to 170. The first two games we got close with 160s. It wasn't as good a wicket today but we were 10-15 runs short. We know our equation, we need to win 5 from 6. From my side and everyone in the team, we are trying our best. [On Ambrose] He is brilliant, he brings the passion. This is my third season, he has the fire in his belly. He cares for us and wants the best for us. He is our care-taker and our motivator."
Faf du Plessis, Kings captain: "Really clinical performance. The wicket surprised us, was good in the last few games but was slow today. It is important that when you got smaller scores, you go hard with intent at the start. The aim was to get through the powerplay and then with quality spinners, you could get behind. I had to get going early and then it is about taking it deep to the extent you can't lose it and then go hard. I have seen a bit of him now, he is world class, happy to not bat against him. Extremely hard to pick. Knowing the Caribbean and the style of play, if you can stay away from the slot and slower one, he fired it well. Unfortunate for Klaasen to not come in, but Seifert did well."
10:20pm A fourth successive loss for Falcons and this is a statement win by Kings. They were just stupendous with the ball, reading the conditions well and using spin to stifle the opposition. And then they wasted no time in the chase with du Plessis setting the tone with a 20-run over against Springer. Charles was not at his fluent best but ensured Kings did not have to worry much. It turned out to be a coast, thanks to Seifert's blitz to add the finishing touch
Noor Ahmad, Player of the Match: "It's been pleasure playing the CPL. Playing in different pitches and conditions, we get used to it and I try to deliver the best for my team. This time I had a good partnership with bowlers and that helped. The environment is good and everyone is enjoying each other's company [at Kings]."
Amir is back for his last over. So Springer and Primus may have to chip in soon. Kings need 23 off the last four overs
