Azam Khan: The spinners were turning the ball so I had to take some time. Salamkheil bowled really well. We have a decent total on the board and we will try to defend it. (On the pitch) It was skidding on for the pacers. Wrist-spinner was getting a bit of turn. We have the spinners in our team and we can defend it. (Bowling plans) Just bowl the right lines and lengths.

8:46pm The Warriors end up with 166, which is their lowest first-innings total this season but gives them plenty to bowl at, especially on a surface that has been slightly sticky. Ayub set the foundation, scoring 49. Azam then got stuck into the middle overs, with Pretorius, Shepherd and Motie providing the impetus right at the end.

As for the Knight Riders, well, they will not be happy with the fact that they shipped 58 runs in the final five overs. Prior to that, Salamkheil was brilliant, and he picked up the crucial wicket of Ayub. The rest of the bowlers came in for a bit of tap towards the end but with the batting unit they have, they will feel they can hunt down this total. Join us in a bit for the run-chase!

Ali Khan to Motie, FOUR, four to finish the innings! Full outside off. Motie swings for the hills. Looks to go over mid wicket but ends up slicing it off the outside edge over short third man. They all count, though!

Ali Khan to Motie, 2 runs, very full delivery outside off stump. Motie somehow manages to get under it and chips it on the bounce to long off. Gets back for a brace. Not great fielding by the skipper, allowing Motie the second
