8:37pm An utterly dominant Warriors innings, headlined by Hope, who creamed his way to a 41-ball hundred and finished with 106 off 44. He hit the ball to all parts and batted with intent throughout, with Cornwall coming in for some severe punishment, conceding 32 runs in an over. Anderson also gave a decent account of himself and forged an excellent partnership with Hope. Ayub, Azam, Hetmyer and Smith also chipped in with cameos, ensuring that momentum was maintained throughout the innings.

As for the Royals, well, they looked like a team that knew they had no chance of qualifying. Their bowling plans were all over the place, their execution perhaps worse. Their spinners took plenty of tap, with the fast-bowlers not being able to control the run-flow either. They now have a mountain to climb, although with nothing to lose, they will hope to give this a proper rattle. Join us in a bit for the run-chase!

Kevlon Anderson: Just wanted to thank the team, the management and the players for backing me. (On what it was like batting with Hope) It is a dream come true. He told me to back myself and play my game and I just stuck to my task. (On his message to his friends and family) Thank you to everyone who supported me from the start. Privilege to have come this far. (On Guyana getting their highest score ever in the CPL) Being a part of history is always a good feeling.

McCoy to Joseph, no run, another slower delivery on a length just outside off. This time, it is Joseph's turn to swing and miss. And the Warriors cannot even get a bye. An anti-climactic end to an otherwise belligerent innings!
