1:47pm: And that's all we have from today's first CPL game. The Jamaica Tallawahs take on the Trinabgo Knight Riders later this evening in a crucial tie for both teams. Do join us for that one. Until then, it's goodbye from us!
Evin Lewis: It feels very good, to be honest. We've been trying to get that first victory and to get it today it feels very good. I'm very pleased with the bowling group, we used the wicket well today and restricted them to that total. Ashmead Nedd was asked to do a job in the Powerplay, and did it for us. Fletcher is a top guy, he's a guy who believes in himself and I'm very happy for him. I'm feeling very happy, we've been trying a lot of things to get that win, now it's good for our confidence going into that last game.
Sikandar Raza: I don't think it was too bad a total, I thought we were 10 runs short. The wicket was moist and it was hard to start. I thought he [Descarte] was very professional, got runs in a warmup game against St Kitts as well. His graph should go up from here. Khary has done really well, he didn't start this season, that was just to do with the combinations. Now he's come back and done really well, whether opening the bowling or bowling in the middle. The wind plays a huge factor, I thought if Fletcher gets out in the 19th over, we back Roston Chase to win the game in the last over, wanted them to hit our spinners into the longer side into the wind as well.
The player of the match is Andre Fletcher, unsurprisingly. He's not here for the presentation ceremony, presumably receiving treatment at the moment. Sherfane Rutherford receives the award on his behalf and calls it a special knock from Fletcher. He says that Fletcher was one of the few batters in the team in form and it was important for him to bat till the end. Rutherford says Fletcher has suffered a hamstring injury.
1:30pm: Some emotions on show here from Andre Fletcher, who I'm sure is wiping away a tear or two. It's been a tough season for the Patriots, but that is an incredible win. 93 off 64 for Fletcher, who has single-handedly taken them past the finish line, with only a tiny bit of help from Rutherford and Bosch. That was a sensational effort from Fletcher, but the win was set up by the Patriots' bowlers, Ashmead Nedd in particular, who restricted the Kings to 149. St Lucia stay third, St Kitts stay bottom, and now Jamaica Tallawahs might be sniffing the Kings' tails in pursuit of the playoffs. Stick around for a bit, for quotes from the captains and player of the match.
7 off 3. Dominic Drakes on strike. How have the Patriots let it get to this?

What a superb over from Joseph! Just one run off it. Superb tactics as well, keeping the ball outside off, to make Fletcher reach for it with hit fitness concerns
10 to win off 2 overs. The Patriots should have this one wrapped up now, but stranger things have happened in this sport, especially to sides who are in a losing habit

He's clearly struggling, is Fletcher. Once again on his haunches after playing that last shot.
Fletcher seems to be okay, or at least okay enough to continue batting. No runners, of course, so the Patriots will hope he's fit enough to do his running for himself. Remember, Fletcher left the field at the backend of the first innings as well.
As he was completing that second run, Fletcher pulled up with an injury to his leg, and is now receiving treatment. The Patriots will hope that it's just cramp on what is a hot day in Trinidad, but it looks like he might have pulled something.
Now Alzarri Joseph. You'd assume he'll bowl this one and the 17th over. How will the Patriots play this one?
