Rahkeem Cornwall, Player of the Match: The pitch was really good. (on celebration) Today is my son's birthday. I dedicate my hundred to my two sons; they back me from day one. I always back myself to give the team a good start. (crowd) keep me going, especially every time I hit a six, they cheering hard. I just had to give something to them to cheer about. I think once I got past the half stage, I think I could go big. I would say thanks for the support (to the fans) and thanks to my family.

Sherfane Rutherford, Patriots Captain: I think catches win matches (on Cornwall dropped catch). We didn't stick to our plans for too long. On a good wicket, you don't wanna give chances to batters. It was a good score but as I said catches win matches. (On Cornwall's innings) We know that if you don't out him in the powerplay, he is gonna score runs. He played an exceptional innings. Credit goes to him, as I said it's a good wicket, he actually took the game away from us. We have a few days off, just stay positive that's the most we can do. Nothing is guaranteed so we just need to keep a good mindset, stick together and anything can happen. There is nothing to lose.

Rovman Powell, Barbados Royals Captain: It was an excellent feeling (to win). It ended up as our top chase, credit must be given to the guys. I expected the innings (from Cornwall) but the longevity of it is what I didn't expect. For him to go so long, it's remarkable. It was a fantastic knock, one of the best I have ever seen. To be honest, I think the guys didn't bowl according to plans. We set a off side field, and the balls go on leg side and when we set the field on leg side, they ball on off side; that's something we need to work on. It's good that we have few days off and we need to work on these areas. I think there is a room for other options as a captain.

Phew. What a game this was. It was Cornball all the way! Absolute carnage with the bat and a forgettable day for bowlers. Given how Royals' top order had been struggling before this game, not many would have imagined they will gun down this massive target and that too with eight wickets in hand and eleven balls to spare. Rahkeem Cornwall entertained the crowd royally with a century that will be remembered for ages in Barbados! The big man was unstoppable today, and his bat-drop celebration has to be one of the best in CPL!

They need to finish this game quickly to improve their net-run-rate which suffered a huge blow after they were skittled out for 61 earlier this week

Varun: "Cornwall's weight is gonna keep him from making a ton of money. Lots of batting talent and can bowl as well but franchises wont pick him due to fears over his fitness"

Breado: "Cornwall does not bowl and is a liability in the field. This is his only good innings in 6 matches and let's be frank"
