Barry: "What a performance from Jamaica, complete lockdown of TKR,Kelvin Pitman on debut 3/27 really impressive bowling performance, well done Brandon King on selecting this youth today on the playing 11..glorious CPL T20 cricket"

Quite a reticent interview from the debutant but his bowling sure did the talking.

Kevin Pitman: Felt a lot of emotions. Didn't expect to perform as well and am happy. I focused to keep it simple and let the batter make a mistake. (He's not fully sure which wicket was his favourite) I was just being myself and executing my plans.

11:47pm: A high-impact debut for Pitman stands out in Tallawahs restricting TKR to 142. He came in after Deyal got out of the powerplay unscathed. The opener was shifting gears but was finished off by Pitman going into the pitch. Pitman followed it up with Pooran's wicket in the same over. Guptill had an off-day, his 25-ball 15 was expensive. Imad got him on the slog sweep. Pollard and Tucker rebuilt in the middle overs but the boundaries were kept out of the equation by Pitman, Wasim, Irshad. Tucker couldn't capitalise on his start. Pollard got a couple big hits and top scored but a 27-ball 33 wasn't too big a dent. Amir, after a decent opening spell, finished off in style. Irshad was great too. TKR look to be under par but can their bowlers step up? Find out after the break.

Salman Irshad to Hosein, no run, Hosein swings and misses. Keeper throws the ball over the stumps, to the bowler. Hosein doesn't go for the bye. Short ball angled away outside off, Hosein heaved at it. His bottom hand came off and the ball went wider than his swinging arc. Perfect finish for Irshad.

Salman Irshad to Ali Khan, 1 run, Full on middle, looked like Khan wanted to give Hosein the strike for the last ball. Just nudged it to wide mid-on for the single.

Salman Irshad to Narine, OUT, Pinned in front. Given lbw, Narine reviews. Yorker on off slung in from well behind the crease. Narine tried to whip away, got hit on the back leg. Hit just over the boot. The feet scissored apart after impact, the ball does look like it could be going outside off. We wait for ball tracking... Long wait, Narine's halfway back.In it comes. It's pitching on off, impact is umpire's call and it's clipping off. Irshad has his first.
