11.51am Romario Shepherd takes 25 runs off that final over to take Guyana Amazon Warriors to 186! That was a score that looked well beyond them, especially when Hetmyer fell. But Keemo Paul continued to impress with the bat and then Pretorius and Shepherd chipped in with crucial knocks as well. Saim Ayub got Warriors off to a good start but Oshane Thomas had him and Zazai out in the same over. Thomas came back to dismiss the dangerous looking Hope as well and St Kitts and Nevis Patriots looked well on top at the halfway mark of the innings. Now they need to turn up and put on a show with the bat to try and chase this total down. Be back with us soon for the chase.
Here's what Keemo Paul has to say: "I know I needed to take the responsibility. We lost a few early wickets. We had a plan, to bat till 14 years and then we had Shepherd and Pretorius to come. It was very enjoyable to bat with Hettie and then with Shephie. We were just trying to be smart about it. It was about being smart and calculated. We have a structure, we have a team plan. We try to be specific and improve on each and every area. It's actually a pretty good wicket. You have to bowl wicket to wicket and stay in those good areas."
"Why would they only allow 3 overs for the pick of the bowlers?? Thomas took 3 wickets and only bowled 3 overs " Wondering the same myself, Alexei.
