What a recovery from the Tallawahs after being down and out in the powerplay, with their innings going nowhere in the first nine overs. However, Brooks played a blinder, inspiring his team and lifting them out of serious trouble. He scored a majestic 78, laced with seven fours and four maximums and looked head and shoulders above the rest. There were some electric overs, particularly one from Qais at the death where he went berserk. It was an outstanding knock. Imad hung around in the last few overs to push the score to 161. His crafty 33 off 24 was quite vital. Jason Holder was superb with the ball, bringing all his experience to the fore, while Kyle Mayers was unplayable in the powerplay, returning figures of 1/8 in his three overs. Nyeem Young mixed it up nicely and is clearly improving with each passing game. Is this a good score? Certainly not a bad one in my opinion

Holder to Imad Wasim, 1 run, OUT, Another pitch-perfect yorker dipping into middle and leg, flicked away to deep square's left and he is running hard for the second run but is short of his crease, keeper collects the throw cleanly and whips off the bails quickly

Holder to Green, 1 bye, Pitched full, lovely yorker wide of off, that should have been a straightforward run-out but Holder fumbles, can't collect the throw from the keeper cleanly and leaks an extra run. Sloppy work and it brings Imad on strike

Holder to Imad Wasim, FOUR, Rams the yorker but it's not quite full enough in the blockhole so Wasim manages to crack it downtown, square of long-on and it whistles away to the boundary

van der Merwe to Imad Wasim, SIX, Another six and this has totally ruined his figures. Pounded hard over the bowler's head for a maximum. Pitched up and getting just a little too predictable, Imad uses the depth of the crease well and uses the long levers to munch down the ground for a very useful maximum

van der Merwe to Imad Wasim, SIX, Skids one into off, flexes his biceps and smokes it over long-on for a mighty long six! That has gone a long way back over long-on. Absolutely thumped!

Qais Ahmad to Brooks, OUT, Qais gets his man, has the last laugh! Powell, who has been a livewire in the field, takes a stupendous running catch at long-on. That has got to be one of the most sensational catch of CPL. Tries to lift it over the fielder's head but didn't get underneath it. Brooks has played a crucial knock for his team, hauling them out of trouble and now it's down to Allen and Imad to finish strong.

Qais Ahmad to Brooks, SIX, Loose delivery and duly dispatched! Tossed up on a length, smothers the spin by leaning forward and employs a classical shot, didn't try to overhit, just timed it beautifully clearing long-off with ease. How do they stop him?
