Sevens wickets between Salman Irshad and Mohammad Amir. Irshad was unplayable in his opening burst, bouncing out batters and creating serious problems for Patriots in the powerplay. He missed out on a hattrick but didn't drop his intensity in a hostile spell. Amir bowled well at the death that helped keep a lid on the score. Patriots scrap their way to 156 courtesy of contributions from Fletcher, Da Silva and Drakes and some handy runs from Rutherford and Linde but the kept losing wickets at regular intervals which didn't allow them to post a formidable total. That being said, it's not an easy pitch to bat on and one really has to apply themselves and manufacture boundaries.
