10.05am Okay, we have another washout. The final news comes just about ten minutes after the scheduled start of play. This is now three abandoned games in a row, as the CPL keeps being dominated by rain, rain and more rain. The umpires have a word with the teams, who are forced to share the points. But there's another game coming up today, and do join us for the action then. See you!

9.53am The only update we have for now from the live pictures which we see is that it is still raining. The players and staff seem busy while waiting and chatting, with the covers strongly placed. Keep hanging around for any further news.

9.32am We have a (bad) news: the covers are firmly placed on the pitch, as it is raining right now, and again there are puddles and wet patches surrounding the pitch. Danny Morrison takes shelter under an umbrella, and tries zipping through on the outfield, which is quite wet.

Remember, Royals started this season with a heavy defeat against St Lucia Kings after their bowlers conceded 201. Holder's four wickets, and Young's 48, though, were encouraging points. Contrastingly, Tallawahs beat Kings by 11 runs to bag the two points, as captain King showed the way with 81.

9.15am Match five of this season's CPL, where two washed-out games out of the first four have dampened the cricket as much as the spirits. And if it were any further bad news, then the forecast for Gros Islet isn't encouraging for this morning and afternoon either. But hang on just yet; who knows if cricket can finally be the winner? This is Himanshu saying hello this morning, as we bring to you BR vs JT.
