8.00 pm A better batsman would have taken 20 off that last over. Paul bowled poorly but the Zouks could not capitalize with Glenn on strike. They needed every run possible against this potent Amazon Warriors unit but wind up settling for 109. Yet again the batting in this tournament leaves a lot to be desired. Tahir was very tidy and the medium pacers were led by Naveen who follows his Man of the Match performance with another two wickets. Guyana's match to lose. Come back shortly when Danyal leads off the commentary for the second innings.

Paul to Glen, 1 no ball, neck high no ball from Paul. Glenn winds up aborting a pull shot as he opts for self-defense first instead of cranking it over square leg for six.

Paul to Glen, 1 wide, drags this wider still, too far to play at and a bonus ball is coming.

Paul to Glen, FOUR, edged again and just wide of Tahir at short third man before racing away. Bowled at full pace this time full and wide, Tahir looks every bit of his age with his feet statuesque. A more mobile fielder would have turned that into a chance but he wound up falling over sideways a good two yards away from getting a hand to it as it passed him at chest height.

Paul to Glen, FOUR, edged! Pooran can't dive far enough and it races through third man for four. Slower ball lands full and very wide, slashes at it and a thick edge goes where a slip would have been. Third man is in the ring so it's a sure boundary.
