5.39pm And that is all from the first game today. Our Oman vs Scotland coverage is up and running over here. So head over for what could be a real thriller. See you soon!

Mahmudullah: I think it was much needed. The way that we wanted to play, the intent was there from the batters. Having said that I think the wicket was better in comparison, so the batters did well to get 180. I think the two things we've been concerned about are the first six overs with bat and ball. If we get a good start, we can capitalise, so I think we need to improve on that. I've said it before - we're much more skilled hitters than big hitters. So we need to find the bowlers we can take on on that particular day and we need to figure that out and communicate with the others as experienced batters.

Assad Vala: Towards the end they got the momentum, but I thought we started really well. 1 for 40 or something in the powerplay. We pulled them back really well, but we just couldn't execute our death bowling under pressure. I think losing wickets in the powerplay has been costing us. We've not found a really good way to play. Against a really good team you need to be up for it. We can take back executing our skills under pressure, we weren't good enough. We know we could've done well. So next time if we get the opportunity, we'll try to change it.

Shakib: Every game we're playing gets us into more confidence. Obviously it was a setback, the first game, but in the T20 format the team that is better on the day wins. But now the pressure is off and we can play expressively. It's not an easy format to get back into form, but luckily I'm getting more chance to bat up the order. A little tired, I've been playing non-stop cricket for the last five-six months, it's been a long season for me. But hopefully I can pull this tournament off.

Shakib is the Player of the Match.

5.27pm So that is the end for PNG. And a comeback completed well from Bangladesh. This win takes them to four points with a massive boost in net run rate. They are through to the Super 12s. They finish this game top of the table, but that will change if Scotland win the evening game. Oman will need to win by 79 runs to top the group. If they win by a smaller margin, they'll finish second. So it's pretty simple: winner of the next game qualifies alongside Bangladesh.

Taskin Ahmed to Ravu, OUT, that's that! PNG fall shy of the 100 mark and Doriga of a half-century. This is short of a length outside off, he backs away and has a stab at this. Thin outside edge is taken easily

james: "Bangladesh had Scotland at 53 for 6 and PNG at 27 for 7. They keep letting their foot off the gas once they think they're secure with a win. We saw how that went with the Scotland game."

Taskin Ahmed to Ravu, no run, short and following him down leg side as he backs away and has a slap at it. Beaten

Mark: "PNG going down big time, but having a lot of fun on the way. maybe, next time, we could extend the first round to 16 teams and have 4 groups of 4? "

Arman: "May be it's harsh but Bangladesh must learn to finish off the tail more efficiently. So, many runs given after 12th over with the tail on. "

Mustafizur Rahman to Doriga, 1 run, good length slower ball outside off, reaches out and pushes uppishly to sweeper cover and retains strike

Sadib: "Shaf, you are not alone. I too am a Bangladeshi who grew up in Papua New Guinea. I grew up in the city of Port Moresby and went to the local international schools. Even though I am an overly critical Bangladesh cricket fan, I've never been so proud to support a losing team in PNG. PNG children around the country or "pikininis" will be inspired and start playing cricket. PNG, hold your head up high."
