4.05pm: That's yer lot from Antigua, where Scotland have once again stuck a flag in the ground. The Associates are coming, and coming specifically for England, the T20WC defending champions. 3.55pm: Time for the captains to speak, starting with Aqib Ilyas: "We started well in the powerplay, 175 could have been a good score, but we had too many dot balls on a flat track. In the batting we have to improve. 150 was par but we dropped too many chances. Catches, if you take them, puts pressure on the other team. This is cricket, sometimes you are at the top, sometimes you are down. [What next?] Stay positive, everyone will be upset, next game we never know. We will hope to compete against England."

Scotland's Richie Berrington: "Really pleased, important to get the win in a tough game. [Oman fast start] Important on this wicket to work out how to bowl, thought we brought it back well towards the back end. We didn't have a score in mind. It was more about working out the lengths to bowl. One side was going to be hard to defend, but thought we did that really well. Really happy with the score we had to chase. It was important to get a good start, the way the guys played at the top was excellent. Partnership between Munsey and McMullen was brilliant, great to see Brandon get a score today. [NRR] Wanted to get into a position to win the game, then when we got there we thought we'd target the short side. We'll enjoy this moment."

3.50pm: An utterly ruthless display from Scotland, breezing to their target with almost seven overs to spare - they will go top of Group B once again, and have lit a fire under England's rickety-looking T20 title defence. Already Scotland have opened up a NRR gap of almost 4 on England, who will need to truly pulverise Oman and Namibia and then hope that Australia can do them a favour in the final game... which you can imagine they might not be overly keen to do!

Brandon McMullen is Player of the Match for his unbeaten 61 off 31: "Very chuffed to get the win for the team. Short boundary with the breeze, we decided it was a key element of the game and that paid off for us. [NRR in mind?] Priority was to win and get the points but at drinks we said we should get this done. We are confident going into the Australia game, always trying to raise the bar. That's the plan going forward."

Bilal returns but the jig is up for Oman. And quite possibly England, too
