Here's Sampath: Second lowest-total at the men's T20 World Cup against an associate nation, behind the 69 all-out by Hong Kong vs Nepal in 2014.

9pm Well, everything that could have gone wrong for PNG, went wrong for them. They lost their skipper in the first over and could not recover thereafter. Bau, who registered a fifty against the West Indies, fell soon after, and the dots kept adding up in the middle overs. There were a couple of cameos, but extras ended up as the second-highest contributor, and that tells a story in itself.

In stark contrast, Uganda were sensational with the ball, continuing on from the last third of their bowling innings against Afghanistan. Nsubuga was the star of the show, giving up only four runs in his four overs and picking up two wickets. Miyagi and Kyewuta bagged two wickets apiece, with Masaba also popping up with a scalp. Ramjani, who started it all off with Vala's scalp, also returned to dismiss Doriga.

Uganda will be pretty pleased with the first half of this game, and they will fancy their chances of getting the job done. PNG, on the other hand, will need something really special to turn this around. Join us in a bit for the run-chase!

Frank Nsubuga: It was a very good moment for me. I am so excited the way I started my first World Cup game. Very exciting. The ball was not coming onto the wicket. The coach said we needed to bowl straight and wicket-to-wicket. (On keeping the nerves in check) You just have to forget everything and focus on watching the ball. Just enjoy yourself. Looking after the young guys, and also they are looking after me. Our team is very exciting. They are young guys and experienced guys. We have come here to just have fun at this World Cup.

Kyewuta to Vanua, OUT, edged and gone! Kyewuta hammers the final nail in PNG's batting coffin! Back of a length outside off. Vanua skips down the track and aims for the moon. Loses all shape and only manages to nick it through to the keeper. Kyewuta is jubilant, and Uganda will be thrilled to bits with their effort so far!

Right. One over left. Kyewuta to bowl. Vanua on strike. Can PNG somehow get up to 85?

Miyagi to Nao, OUT, leg stump knocked back! Back of a length delivery that pitches on off and continues on with the angle. Nao swings like a rusty gate and his bat ends up in a different postcode to the ball. Hits the top of leg stump, and PNG are on the brink of getting bowled out!

As the ball has gotten older, the instances of it keeping low have increased. That said, this is certainly not a 69-8 after 17 overs pitch. PNG will be chuffed if they can get close to 100 from here

A few running repairs for Masaba. Looks like his left leg is causing him pain. He is staying on, though, and that is a good sign for Uganda
