Pakistan were in trouble at 43 for 4 - it could have been 43 for 5 if QdK had held a tough chance when Iftikhar Ahmed was on 2 - but somehow rallied to cause complete carnage during the second half of the innings. Uncle Ifti made his second fifty of the tournament, and Shadab Khan blasted 52 off 22 as South Africa's fielding effort came apart in the wet. Here are the thoughts of Anrich Nortje at halfway: "Happy with the start, maybe one or two too many boundaries at the end. Little bit of rain around, maybe contributes to the wicket getting easier.
