Sajawal: "We often talk about India's domination of Pakistan in the recent past, but ever so rarely is New Zealand's domination of India in global tournaments brought up. Defeat is one thing, but given the mannerism by which the beating was delivered, NZ's dominance of India is grossly underrated. "

shoeb arif: "Although it might not make much difference in todays match but pandya not crossing and just walking off was horrible .. it cost india 3 deliveries to get jadeja back on strike .. could have been match changing on any other day"

Abhishek Tiwary: "Big disappointing and fatigued performance. They had the best knowledge of conditions and pitches among all the teams participating. There is no hiding place for this team."

sukrit gupta: "This is giving me 2007 ODI WC vibes."

Nazeer: "All I can wish now for is, we don't see anyone doing a buttler here tonight. Take the game as deep as possible."

Pomil Proch: "The other day during the Aus England match, the camera panned to a shot of Jupiter in the vast expanse of the Universe. I dare say that shot was way more satisfying to watch than entire Indian batting."

7.38pm Something of a blemish there at the end for New Zealand on what has otherwise been a sensational effort from them. At the halfway stage, one thing is clear - only one team adjusted to the conditions. Ish Sodhi says the pitch was slower than they expected and turned more than they expected as well. They managed to figure out a plan to use it in their favour and India, despite the extra fireworks added to the top and bottom of a long-ish batting line-up, came nowhere near being in control. All looking dire for them so far. New Zealand will be keen to finish this clinically - the race for second spot has just gotten very, very spicy for those who weren't favourites. Back shortly for the chase.

Southee to Jadeja, 2 runs, slower short ball outside off, looks for the big pull, ends up slicing it in front of long-on and it's enough of a mis-hit to pinch the second

Anwoy: "How on earth 6 out of 7 batsmen of a team get out the same freaking way? What do you call that? " --- Good point, India haven't found scoring options outside their comfort zones tonight. SKY might have made some difference here.

Boult to Thakur, OUT, taken at long-off. Good length and turning away from middle stump. Thakur plants the front leg down and looks to loft it straight. Not the pitch for it, a dolly for Guptill on the line

Boult to Pandya, OUT, straight to long-off! Boult missed his mark last ball of his last over - this is the ball he was trying to bowl. Offcutter, good length and cutting away from middle and off. Pandya manages to make room but that grips and is going to get big on him on this pitch. He punches it firmly on the rise but the trajectory on that means it would never have gone the distance. Simple catch at waist height
