Garth, though, says no after taking a few steps down the track herself. She tries to sacrifice herself but the batters do not cross when the bails are whipped off at the batter's end. A tame and anti-climactic end to Gardner's innings, but she has propelled Australia past 330! 331/7

41.4 oh dear - that is a bad mix-up, and McGrath has to go! Back of a length outside off. Gardner jabs it to extra cover and sets off for the single. McGrath is not ready for it and is perhaps ball-watching too. Very late to react and Rodrigues' throw to Ghosh is on point, with the keeper doing the rest. A needless run-out from an Australian perspective, and India have been handed another lifeline here! 265/6

49.5 floated up on middle and off. Garth skips down the track and drills it towards long off. The decision to go for the second is a little belated and that leads to Garth's undoing. Just about in the frame as Ghosh takes off the bails, and Australia have been bowled out with a ball remaining in their innings! 338/10

King shuffles a step to her right and then has an enormous mow across the line. Seems to miss it but India, obviously, think otherwise. And they are right too. There is a snick off the under-edge as King was swinging like a rusty gate, and India's decision to review has paid off! 336/8

9.2 a slight appeal for a strangle down leg, but called a wide! But Healy, after some deliberation with her teammates, takes it upstairs! Garth errs in line with this length ball. Mandhana wanted to glance it fine and seemed to miss it. She does not look very fussed about the review, which may be an indication. The UltraEdge taking a bit of time to build, and billions of Indians hold their breath. UltraEdge comes up now and oh my word. There is a small spike on UltraEdge when the ball is next to the bat. The barest of spikes. The barest of margins. And Australia have the big fish, and they have the big fish via a strangle down leg. What a moment in the game. Mandhana cannot believe it. She is shaking her head as she walks off. Thousands at the ground, and countless others in front of their TV sets might be in disbelief too. Dug into the track outside off and Harmanpreet seems to be expecting this too. She shapes for the pull but the ball holds in the surface ever so slightly. A complete miscue and Gardner charges in from the deep mid wicket fence before diving forward to snaffle up the chance. What a knock by the India captain, but now, someone else will have to take them past the finish line! 226/3

40.5 oh dear - that is pretty much the last thing India wanted at this stage! A run-out, a needless one at that, and Deepti is outta here! Gardner pulls the length back on middle and leg. Rodrigues, having advanced, turns it towards short fine leg. A bit of hesitation on the single and Deepti, in the end, decides to power through. Bad idea. Very bad idea. Garth's throw is right at the stumps and Healy does the rest, with Deepti just about entering the frame. Not great cricket from India, and a wicket out of nothing for Australia! 264/4

45.6 Ghosh slices it straight to backward point, and Sutherland keeps Australia breathing! Plenty of pace off on this. Back-of-the-hand slower ball on a shortish length outside off and this just does not arrive. Ghosh plays three strokes in her head before actually making contact with her fourth and actual attempt. But it is a feeble attempt in the end. Easy catch for Garth and short third, and Australia remain afloat (for now)! 310/5
