So that's that for today. There is a big game coming up tomorrow when New Zealand take on Australia in Wellington. Do join us for that. Hope you enjoyed our coverage of this one. Thanks for the feedback and do check out the match report and all the reaction from India's win. Until next time, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Ekanth and scorer Binoy George. Be well and take care.
Nandhana: "NZ lost to WI, IND defeated WI and lost to NZ, what a triangle..... Indeed an amazing world cup..."
Mithali Raj: Could not have asked anything better than today's display. Today's win should keep us in the tournament for the knockouts. Batting and bowling really came out well. It had a lot to do with the couple of games, could see the nerves in the girls. Everyone knew the importance of today's game. Required a special effort, we knew West Indies came from 2 wins, we were playing after a big loss. It could be both, if the set plan is not working, then you got to be a little more flexible. The way Smriti and Harman played, very sensible and they have used their experience to get us to the score. It's good to have youngsters around, me and Jhulan have played for a long time. When you have to let your guard down, need the youngsters to crack a joke - it eases out our nerves, which has helped me in the past. We need to be consistent as the next game is in a different venue and a different opponent, we will be having different plans.
Stafanie Taylor: Starting with the ball, we didn't think we bowled the way we wanted. We never executed. Harman and Smriti batted really well, they put us under the pump. The start they gave us was brilliant, it was important for one of them to stay there, batters coming in had to rotate strike but the ones that came in did not capitalise. The opening partnership was really good, to chase 300 you needed that start. She is good [on Dottin].
Harmanpreet Kaur: The set batter was there, in the last game against New Zealand it was missing, today Smriti was there. I was getting that rhythm, once we are settled we can get the boundaries as well. The understanding and the lefty-righty combination helped us. I would love to give it to her because she scored more than me and she deserves that.
Smriti Mandhana: Scoring a century and not being a player of the match is something I wouldn't want. I think we both contributed equally for us to score 300. It is good to share the trophy. As a batter we prefer both, if the toss does not go your way, in chasing it is very important to get the momentum. Both in chasing and setting, this is very important. Our strengths are really different because she is really good with spin and I like pace on the ball. When the spinner comes on I give her the strike and when the pacers come on she gives me. I'm sure the ICC will be giving another trophy, they have enough budget [smiles].
Smriti Mandhana has been named the Player of the Match but she has decided to share the award with Harmanpreet Kaur.
Jaimin: "There is a serious flaw with the NRR calculation.. only 40.3 overs were considered for WI innings.. and if that's what has been agreed then not sure why WI team played out last ten overs for so less.. it just worked against them by not scoring runs... NRR will be a huge factor in the end... "
shyam: "From 100 for no loss within 12 overs to 162 all out. That was quite a collapse from WI and a great victory for India. This should give them confidence to take down any team"
Sai Murali: "BIG Win for India. But CWC 22 has got its NRR calculation system wrong. Request Cricinfo to please point it out to CWC22. India's Against NRR should stand at 559/150 and not 559/140.3. When chasing teams get all out without completing full 50 overs, the full quota is considered. For example, please look at how the NRR was factored when India lost to NZ. Though India got all out in 47 overs while chasing, the entire 50 overs was used in the FOR column of NRR"
Yash: "It is really nice to see this gesture from Mandhana to share the player of match with her team mate. "

8.53pm: A massive win for India. The NRR should get a big boost as well. Dottin and Matthews started off on a mission and especially were severe on Goswami. One over from the veteran saw 5 boundaries. The openers went hell for leather and soon the 100 came up. Even the spinners didn't make any difference until Sneh Rana got Dottin in her first over. From 100/1 West Indies collapsed to 145/7 in around 14 overs and the game was done there. The spinners spun a web around the batters and West Indies just crumbled. The rest of the formalities were completed with Jhulan becoming the highest wicket-taker in #CWC history. A proud moment for her. India go top of the table with that big win. Stay tuned for the presentation.
