8.15pm So, the target has been adjusted down to 306 in 40 overs. This was a stunning display from their batting order. Brits was out for a duck in the second over just before rain caused a delay of around two hours. But then, Wolvaardt and Luus laid down the platform with a 118-run partnership off just 93 runs. Wolvaardt carried on after Luus' dismissal to make a very good 90. Kapp also hit a quick half-century while Nadine de Clutch played another blinder.
Here's Sune Luus: "[On the approach] I think we wanted to go out and express ourselves. This is a good opportunity to go and put another win on the board and go into the game against Australia and the semis with the batters in form. [On partnership with Wolvaardt] We like batting together. We feed well off each other and she's obviously a class player and feeding off her energy is pretty cool. If you look at all the games, it's been hard to defend but they've been close as well. We wanted to put on a dominant performance and put on some runs on the board. Will be nice to go get a few overs with the ball ahead of the game against Australia. [On their total] It's still a good wicket and outfield is good so we don't want to be complacent. Just keep it simple, stick to the basics and try to defend it."
