9.45pm Well, Sri Lanka added 59 runs in the eight overs they had after the rain delay, taking their total to 105. Gunaratne came back to bat to finish as Sri Lanka's top scorer. They batted with intent, and were able to add quick runs thanks to the ball and outfield being slippery. But De Klerk and Mlaba were especially good with the ball, and ensured a tight finish for South Africa. And the target for South Africa has been confirmed as 121.

Mlaba: "It was very tough because the seam is wet and I was struggling to grip it. The ball was slippery and we were trying to take on the run outs but we struggled [to collect the ball in the field] Hard to suddenly switch onto T20 mode but I had to adjust. [Target of 121] We are definitely going to chase that score down because we are in T20 mode."
