Thanks Ekanth. Another big stint from you. Australia all set to make it a perfect group stage. Can Bangladesh do something about it? Still extremely windy as the players walk out to the middle. Healy and Haynes the openers. Jahanara Alam has the ball.

It's nice that we're managing to get a game. Hopefully it goes through completely and that there's good cricket coming up with Srivathsa Vennelaganti coming to take you through the chase.
Geoff: "I wonder how many stumpings Schutt has among her dismissals." Should be 6
Gokul Pradeep V: "@Craig, score quicker ? If they play their full quota of the overs, that itself will be a big achievement for them against this relentless Australian bowling attack "
paul: "Did the Aussies just fail to bowl out. Ban " A cautious Bangladesh. They were good though. A couple of missed chances in the field do not help.
Abhijeet: "Australia will chase this target easily within 20-25 overs.
KG: "I'm pretty sure it won't happen but if Bangladesh pull this off, where would that put them in terms of the table?" They need big wins for the very unlikely playoff contention or moves up the table. Not really sure if they can with 135 on the board.
Jess Jonassen, 9-3-13-2 "Without a doubt, these were the toughest conditions I've played in. It was different but fun as well. The conversations as a spin group were about using the conditions and the wind, how it impacted our lines and the areas the batters hit. We did a really good job today. Ash Gardner chipped in as well. My plan was to bowl into the wicket, particularly while bowling into the wind without getting too floaty. That can happen when you try to get the breeze to do the work for you. But you still have to bowl and do most of the work yourself. I just had a lot of fun there today"
3:52 pm: Bangladesh, despite being unable to cut loose at any point, did manage to cope with the Australian bowling. Sharmin and Lata got steady starts but could not capitalize on them. The bowlers had a hard time with the wind, as did the bails which were not used since the eleventh over. The pacers found it hard to find their lines with the wind. Between Gardner and Jonassen, the figures were 17-4-36-4. That will put the brakes on any line-up. Albeit less, Bangladesh have a score on the board. Can their spinners tie down Australia, can they at least pose a stiff challenge? Find out in the chase starting soon.

Craig: "Can someone ask Bangladesh to score a bit quicker so Meg Lanning has enough runs to chase to score a ton on her birthday?" Nope, that is a bridge too far.
