5.17pm An up-and-down innings for India, just like their tournament so far. After winning the toss, Mandhana and Verma started slowly before Verma cut loose. But then India lost three wickets for no run, including the openers', and that pegged them back. Harmanpreet's run-out added to their woes but Richa Ghosh, Pooja Vastrakar Sneh Rana bailed them out and lifted them to a solid 229 for 7. Bhatia says the pitch is on the slower side but still good to bat on if you apply yourself. But she is confident India can defend this. Bangladesh have never chased this many but, as one of our readers said, there is a first time for everything. We will be back in a bit, stay tuned.

Jahanara Alam to Vastrakar, 1 run, too full outside off, loses her shape as she looks to go hard towards long-on. Ends up mistiming and gets only a single in the end
