Welcome back. Perry apparently can come in only at 7 to bat due to the time she spent off the field. Healy and Haynes the openers. Two slips in for Ismail.

A target of 272 looks daunting especially with the bowling attack South Africa have. However, they would do well to derive confidence from having chased a higher target against India. Remember, Ellyse Perry bowled only three overs due to a dodgy back and we don't know yet if she will be available to bat. An exciting chase is coming up, join us soon.

2:05pm As Wolvaardt said, Australia did quite well to put the lid on the scoring in the middle overs, despite a set batter being there. King and Gardner varied their pace while Jonassen had the leg-stump line like a string to not let Wolvaardt get away. But once both Wolvaardt and Luus fell, it looked like Australia would apply the squeeze like they normally do but Tryon and Kapp didn't let that happen.

Here's Laura Wolvaardt: Still not going all the way which is disappointing; The pitch was good to bat on, they bowled well in the middle overs. Hopefully our bowlers can do the same. I think they tried and bowled pretty straight to me, but we did well to get to 270. We had the plan for Sune and I to take it to the last ten and then whoever can come in and whack. I back our bowling attack; a couple of early wickets and we could be in.

2:01pm 46 off the last five overs, 79 off the last ten! Just the perfect finish for South Africa despite losing set batters Wolvaardt and Luus in succession. They would have hoped to get closer to 300 with the kind of base they had but 272 is not too bad a score as it stands. The surface looks good for more runs.
