20.5 no doubt about this! Noor finally snaps up the third chance offered by Thomas! Flighted full on fourth stump, Thomas goes to punch through mid-off but the ball spins back and clips the inner half of the bat to produce a soft chance floating gently back to Noor. He shuffles a stride to his right and takes a safe catch at rib height before letting loose with an almighty roar. He was the man responsible for dropping Thomas twice on 15 and 31 and now has atoned for it with guile. 92/4
3.5 huge appeal and up goes the finger! That's a massive breakthrough and no less than Afghanistan deserve. Fuller length this time, angled into leg stump, pitched in line, pins the pad. No arguments there. Bethell walks for 2 9/1
9.3 chips the drive to mid-off! Prest is gone, and that's reward for probing bowling, tempting the batter to go over the top, and he doesn't get away with it, trying to fillet the covers, but the fielder back-pedals on the edge of the ring, and swallows the offering. Now then... 56/2
18.2 gem of a delivery traps Rew on the back foot! Zips this in much flatter and quicker on a good length on middle, straightens sharply and breaks past Rew completing a flick to the leg side too early. He's pinged on the back leg above the pad flap but his knee was bent flexing. This looked stone dead and the appeal is upheld. 83/3
23.4 googly cleans up Luxton! Beautifully flighted on a fullish length on fourth stump, Luxton doesn't read this at all and tries to punch through mid-off, it spins in past the inside edge and deflects off the pads back onto off stump. 106/5

35.1 flowing drive, straight at short cover! Afghanistan are exultant! That's such a tame dismissal after the efforts to build this stand. Full length, wide line, just guided softly to the catcher. England lose their sixth! 136/6

23.3 the pressure tells! A tap into the off-side, Aspinwall underarms, diving forward from point, the keeper gathers and the stand is broken! Noor was desperate for his fifty, he's been made to wait so long, and all that effort to keep him from his milestone has paid off for England! Huge moment 94/2
0.3 bullseye! Boyden looked like he rolled the fingers over their to take some pace off and indeed it's a cutter that lands full on fourth stump as Nangyalai tries to punch through mid-off expecting some orthodox away swing but instead it dips between bat and pad and crashes into middle stump. 1/1
28.1 Noor holes out to mid-off! Pressure, pressure... Noor threatened similar in the previous over, an attempt to batter Aspinwall off that hard length, but he can't get hold of a big wind-up, and merely cloths a dolly to Sales on the edge of the ring! Another major sea-change in this chase. 106/4
24.3 chipped straight at midwicket! Aspinwall's angle into the left-hander's pads, lures the clip on the full length, but his head topples to the off side, it's straight to Bethell, and once again, this pair are instrumental in the key breakthrough. They've built the pressure, and they've sprung the trap! 95/3

37.4 England one step closer to the final as Afghanistan's valiant effort loses steam! Flighted wide outside off, shuffles way across his stumps to slog sweep this targeting deep midwicket but gets too much elevation on this and gives Rew plenty of time to track 30 yards to his right from long-on to take a simple catch five yards inside the rope. 156/5
39.4 oh my goodness! That googly was worth the wait! Flighted generously on a fullish length on fifth stump, Ijaz doesn't pick this and goes to drive through extra cover, huge gap pierced as the ball spins in to crash into middle and leg stump. 162/6
45.1 Noor will Rew that shot! Googly lands short on fifth stump, Noor goes for a flat-footed heave over midwicket but it climbs on him with extra bounce and produces a massive top edge. Screams of catch it from Rehan as James Rew sprints in full blast from the long-on rope and covers 30 yards before a magnificent catch diving forward to corral it on the edge of the 30-yard circle! That's a World Cup winning effort! 212/7
45.4 half-tracker could go for six... but instead he picks out Sales at cow corner running across to his right taking it in stride a foot inside the rope! That ball has gone 15 yards over the rope numerous times today and Naveed creams this but doesn't get the elevation and Sales is on the money to intercept it from being six while keeping his balance. He had a support fielder coming over from deep square leg in case he needed to flick it for a relay but does well to keep his balance to take credit for the catch all on his own. 213/8
45.5 Rehan with an all-time classic over in the U-19 World Cup continues getting more epic with each subsequent googly! Googly flighted full on fifth stump, heave across the line and catches nothing but air. Rehan on the other hand gets bullseye crashing into middle stump! 213/9
