That is it from here, on behalf of our team, Chetan, Harshit, Raghav and Chandan, this is Thilak Ram signing off, goeie nag and Kyk mooi na jouself.
Mahfuzur Rahman Rabby - Bangladesh Skipper - High on emotion games between Bangladesh India, Bangladesh, Nepal some of your neighbors?
- Obviously our boys batter are really excited to kind of things. I think our batters batted really well. Especially one good thing is Jishan came back and batter really well and Ariful's knock was good. I think this is very good for us. We told Jishan to play freely and fearless cricket.
Big game coming up against Pakistan you go to a different venue is one of the boys up for it. Are you happy as captain with every single thing or still areas that you'd like to improve? - Think we have a more improvement to the things to sort. So I think we our bowling needs a bit of improvement and also feeling so we have to improve ourselves
Dev Khanal: Nepal Skipper - we were short by 50-60 runs, couple of guys didn't play to their potential, couple of good batsmen as well but they are not showing what they can do. Last one match to go so looking forward to end on a positive note. Couple of strike rotation and single-doubles might be, take this game a bit deeper and it will be easy for the batsman as well to calculate those runs by scoring grounded shots, finding some big gaps and playing single-doubles. There will be some confidence after this game for Bishal and five-fer for Suhash . A couple of good things to take from this game, but not happy with the performance because we can play some good cricket as well. We have shown in the league matches as well but today's hard luck for us but Bangladesh did pretty good and the bowlers as well. They were up to the mark.
(on Banter by Bangladesh bowlers) It can happen in every single game these days, friendly banter off the field you have to be friendly and you have to be joking around with some friends as well. So, in game it's casual and it's fine as well.
Rohanat Doullah Borson is the player of the game for his four-for.
I wasn't left out to be honest, management just gave me rest so that I can prepare for super sixes. I'm quite pleased with my performance, I'm more pleased that we have won the match, we have kept our semi final dreams alive, so that's more pleasing to me. The surface as I mentioned earlier, wasn't that quick, because of the new ball, there was Lacquer, there was bit of carry and later on, nothing. Bit it was still a good wicket to bat on and we chased down total in 25 overs. We are in a very good shape, me, Maruf, Emon, we know ourselves and we are honest with our work.. Physio, coach have helped us and all three of us want to continue this and make our dreams come true
Bangladesh win by five wickets and comprehensively beats Nepal in all aspects of the game and to take two important points to stay alive in the competition. Chasing 170, Bangladesh never looked in any trouble, though they lost half their side, Ariful hung in there and saw their team home. Subash Bhandari grabbed five-for but none of the other bowlers managed to penetrate through the Bangla line up. The fielding efforts were below par to be honest.
END OF OVER:25 | 11 Runs | BD19: 168/5 (2 runs required from 25 overs, RR: 6.72, RRR: 0.08)
- Ariful Islam58 (37b)
- Sheikh Parvez Jibon4 (5b)
- Dev Khanal1-0-11-0
- Subash Bhandari8-0-44-5
