6.28pm Back-slaps all round as Kent take the plaudits. They won the toss and chose to back their batters to post a defendable score, and despite losing Ben Compton in the first over, they fulfilled their brief to perfection. Evison's 97, backed up by Denly, Robinson, Blake and the old man Darren Stevens posted a hefty target of 307, and that proved out of Lancashire's reach despite fine fifties from Jennings and Croft. Three wickets apiece for Gilchrist and Stewart, but fittingly, on the day of Stevens' final bow as a Kent player, it's his heir apparent Joey Evison who wraps up the contest with an allround display to remember.
We'll have post-match coverage to come, but for now, thanks for tuning in, catch you later!

Tony Torrance: "Difference with the two teams is the catching. Kent must have got an extra 50 runs or so."
