His 85 from 48 at the top of the order, plus a typically rapid fifty from James Vince, set Hampshire on their way. Somerset dragged it back through the middle, with Lewis Goldsworthy to the fore, but they'll have to set a new final record to reclaim the title they last won in 2023.
