5:26 pm So Kent will meet Somerset in the final in another hour or so. Sussex really missed Rashid Khan today. It is what it is. Meanwhile, the Darren Stevens Ultras will be glued to their phones to see if the ageless wonder can claim the title by the end of the night.

Sussex captain Luke Wright: "Obviously disappointed. DBD, it was actually quite tough at the top and he did quite well to get that big score and Stevo finishing it off, he's still going. It was probably always going to be just above par but losing early wickets made it very difficult."

Kent captain Sam Billings: "Stevo and DBD played phenomenally well to get up to a really good total and we closed it out really well. Generally the theme of T20 finals day is bat first but then at night it should slide on a bit better. We're just living in Darren's world aren't we?! He said at the quarterfinal when we dropped him, 'Just get me to finals day and I'll do it for you.' He's just a special cricketer. [DBD] was a high class knock and just showed us his experience today."

Player of the Match Daniel Bell-Drummond: "It's great to play here on finals day and get some runs as well so I really enjoyed it. I'm used to the big crowds coming off The Hundred but I know Kent hasn't been here for awhile. It's great to be back here for Kent's sake and hopefully we can go one more. The bowlers have been exceptional all tournament so I'm glad they carried on today and we have so much variety so I hope they can continue for the next game."

That's it for now. On behalf of Saurabh Somani, I'm Peter Della Penna. I'll be back later for the final with Andrew Miller. Coverage for that match will be getting underway shortly. Take care!
