- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR1.3 full length, angled in, Crawley plants his front foot down the pitch and gets rapped on the shin for his troubles. That's plumb! What a start for Essex 1/112.3 round the wicket, tossed up and dipping on a good length from Harmer, grips and straightens into the front pad... up goes the finger! Compton was kneeling forward on an off-stump line and has to go! 29/219.3 two wickets in as many overs! And this is the big one... Critchley serves up a looping length ball that grips on a leg-stump line and skids on, pinning DBD on the back foot as he desperately jams his bat down. Essex on the march now! 45/418.5 Over the wicket from Harmer, looped up outside off, grips and turns into a limp back-foot block, and with a phalanx of close catchers in attendance, Browne stoops forward at short leg to cling onto a looping chance and prise out wicket No.3! 45/354.6 down the track, and holes out to mid-on! A rush of blood from Denly, looking to go down-town, but he dragged his stroke, straight to Aaron Beard at chest height, who clings on with a juggle, and Kent's last recognised batter is gone! 101/824.6 reverse-sweep goes wrong! Pre-meditated from Finch, he was reversing his hands before the ball was released, but Harmer just plugged that line on and around off stump, thumped the pad and extracted another lbw! Finch looked non-plussed, I think he felt he got his pad outside the line of off, but it was certainly very adjacent 58/545.3 up goes the finger! Huge moment for Essex's victory push... full length again, angled in at middle and leg, was it doing too much? The umpire thinks not, and Evison has to go! He didn't get far forward, and the appeal was vociferous! 83/647.5 round the wicket, and plucks out the off stump! Stunning angles from Snater, Stewart played back to the full length, pushed across his body, and gets his alignment all wrong! That just kept going straight through him 85/757.2 pinned on the pads, and Kent are down and out! Wicket-to-wicket from Critchley, skids into the front pad, the appeal was unanimous and absolute. And with Agar unable to bat, Essex seal their innings victory! 101/9Extras5 (b 1, nb 4)TOTAL101 all out (f/o) (57.2 Overs, RR: 1.76)Fall of wickets: 1-1 (Zak Crawley, 1.3 ov), 2-29 (Ben Compton, 12.3 ov), 3-45 (Marcus O'Riordan, 18.5 ov), 4-45 (Daniel Bell-Drummond, 19.3 ov), 5-58 (Harry Finch, 24.6 ov), 6-83 (Joey Evison, 45.3 ov), 7-85 (Grant Stewart, 47.5 ov), 8-101 (Joe Denly, 54.6 ov), 9-101 (Matt Parkinson, 57.2 ov)
