Machakaari: "This hour would effectively decide the winner! Should Vidarbha pile on, they would easily win. Should Kerala get a couple of wickets (preferably these 2), they would start believing again"
Around the wicket, with a slip and silly point

12.40pm Welcome to the second session, one which could probably define where this match would end up. The ball is turning and also keeping low at times, as the footmarks make their presence felt. Both Vidarbha batters are set, and their lead is stands at 127 at the moment. But you never know when the game turns around.
END OF OVER:34 | 6 Runs | VIDAR: 90/2
- Danish Malewar38 (101b)
- Karun Nair42 (94b)
- Jalaj Saxena11-1-36-1
- MD Nidheesh6-2-17-1
12.05pm Vidarbha effectively 127 for 2 as Karun Nair and Danish Malewar have steadied the innings, like they did in the first innings, after they were tottering at 7/2 early in the session. Nair earned a reprieve when Akshay Chandran put down a straightforward chance at slip. Vidarbha would've been 55/3 then. Instead, they go into the break having put together an unbroken 83-run stand as Vidarbha take the session.
Sachin Baby was slightly off the boil as captain, his defensive fields against spinners ensuring a number of edges, most notable twice off Jalaj's bowling to Malewar, didn't have any takers at slip. Can Kerala bounce back? Join us at 12.40pm to find out.
The ball defected off Malewar's pad to Azhar's helmet behind the stumps. Physio running out to do a concussion test.
The leg slip was removed to get a slip in after those two edges in the previous over flew to third man
