11.35pm Right then, that's all from today. You can catch up on how the game went down in Sid Monga's report. The action shifts to Kolkata tomorrow where KKR take on Punjab Kings. Join us for that. For tonight, it's Abhimanyu signing off on behalf of Himanshu, Thilak, Vairavan and everyone else at ESPNcricinfo.

11.30pm Presentation ceremony time.

Harshal Patel, the player of the match: "We've been trying to that for the last few games but some pieces have been missing but for all of it to come together when we need to win every match is pretty special. [On his bowling plans] I figured out pretty early that hitting it on a good length around the stumps was important because it was hard to hit with the horizontal bat. [Dhoni wicket] I was trying to bowl length to him, not necessarily wide, but it was just one of those variations where what you try doesn't come off but pretty happy the ball went to the fielder. For me, [having family around] is the biggest blessing of the IPL. It allows me to see the bigger picture. When I am on the pitch, I am 100% thinking about cricket, but when I go off it, I am focusing on being a good father and husband."

Pat Cummins: "It was great. Few things came together tonight, boys played well. [The bowling performance] Thought it was pretty clinical. Couple of guys at the top wanted to take the game on but the boys shifted defensive and did really well. [Batting order] Particularly in these conditions, wanted to throw Klaas up on top and give Nitish a finishing role. Our record against CSK isn't that great so it's good to fix that one up. We wish we finished that more comfortably, but overall, happy with that win."

As we wait for the presentation, here's a quick look at CSK's home woes this season:

Lost to RCB for the first time in 17 years Lost to DC for the first time in 15 years Against KKR, they registered their lowest ever total at Chepauk Lost to SRH for the first time ever

Lose 4 matches at home for the first time in 13 years

11.20pm Thanks Himanshu. Much needed win for SRH, although not without a few hiccups!

Nitish Reddy: "It went pretty well. Batters played well, whatever situation they were in. It's just match by match and we are just very proud that we won this match and hopefully coming matches as well. [On partnership with Kamindu] We were looking to play normal game, not play big shots and put pressure on bowlers and fielders, taking on the big boundary and looking for twos and we comfortably chased it. [On the pitch] Pretty good, like the first innings a little bit turn is there. Noor bowled well and Khaleel at the end also bowled very well so thankful we were on the winning side. [On what the win means] It is very important for us. It's a do or die situation for us. We know last year RCB came up from the same situation winning seven matches in a row and why can't we do it? We just want to focus on every match, coming out there and putting 110% and the rest we'll see."

MS Dhoni: "I think we kept losing wickets and another thing is in the first innings the wicket was slightly better and 157 wasn't a justifiable score. It wasn't turning a lot, a little two-paced but nothing out of the ordinary. Yes, second innings there was a bit of help. Our spinners, the quality was there and they were bowling in the right areas, but we were 15-20 runs short. [On Brevis] I think he batted really well and we needed that in the middle order. When the spinners come in, you do it either by batsmanship or picking the right areas, but that's an area where we want to improve because middle overs are crucial. In a tournament like this, if there are one or two areas to plug in the holes it's good, but when a majority of the players are not doing well you need to make changes. You can't just keep going. We are just not putting enough runs on the board."

11.14pm So it's becoming a habit: teams travel to Chennai, and beat them rather consistently. It wasn't all that bad a score on a slow and gripping pitch, but CSK's bowlers weren't on target. There were plenty of extras for SRH to feast on, and they won with more than an over to spare. Steady cameo from Mendis - after his show with the ball, and an incredible catch - ensures SRH cross the line. Abhimanyu will close the day out for you.

Jadeja to Mendis, 2 runs, Wow, Brevis saves two! Incredible work there, as he runs and dives to his left, before parrying the ball back. Mendis had pulled this short ball from Jadeja

Ahmed to Nitish Kumar Reddy, no run, slower delivery, and short in length. It pitches on middle and leg, and finishes outside off, after Reddy lets it go. It is not called wide, but Reddy reviews. It remains a fair delivery, though, with the ball within the wide line

Ahmed to Nitish Kumar Reddy, 2 runs, on a length on middle and leg, and chipped towards deep midwicket. Again they push for two, and make it safely
