10:28pm And that is all from here tonight. Good night and see you tomorrow!

Chris Jordan: I feel great. We had a pretty tough start to the tournament, but the entire squad, the entire management kept a lot of belief, and that's why you see that performance tonight. It's part and parcel of life [not being a regular]. It's a big squad. The coaches are trying to get the right combination. As long as I get one game, I get two games, the team win is all that matters. Arshdeep has been brilliant since he's come in, he's brought a free mind, free spirit. He's not that experienced and I think that's helped, because he's just backed himself. In the crucial moments, I just try to keep him calm, and play a support role as much as possible. [Bowling to Holder] I tried to stay nice and calm, think of what the team needed at that moment. Just tried to bowl a nice, quiet over.

Chris Jordan is the Man of the Match.

KL Rahul: We are making it a habit. Winning is a habit, which we didn't find in the first half. Honestly, I'm speechless. Everybody's chipped in. Low-scoring games is when you realise the importance of those 10-15 runs scored by batsmen, those diving stops and those tight overs. The work done is always behind the scenes. Not just the players but the support team. You can't change a lot in tow months but all these guys have pushed the boys to be better and better. Even when we were sitting on the bottom of the table we didn't panic. We kept scrapping and we're really happy that the wins are coming. I think after me and Mandeep played the first over itself we knew it wasn't going to e a high-scoring pitch. We were thinking 160-170. The openers have the freedom to score and I think that's what happened with SRH as well. I was hoping we didn't give anything above 40 in the first six, so I was positive and the team was positive. [Arshdeep] the work's done behind the scene. Me and the coaching team, before the tournament began, discussed what are the things we'd need for the bowlers. Arsh, the way he's bowled in pressure situations will give him a lot of confidence.

Arshdeep: The score wasn't big so we thought we'd give it our best. But in the end we saw an opportunity for the win. The plan was to dig it into the wicket and make them hit to the big side. I've been backed up really well by the management, and I'm enjoying this moment. The plan was to just hit the hard lengths [the Shankar wicket].

Warner: Yeah it does hurt. Our bowlers did a fantastic job to restrict them. After our start, we took the foot of the pedal. Disappointed. We felt on that wicket spin would get tough to play [on the powerplay approach]. We bowled well with the new ball, didn't get wickets at the start [but ended well]. Just got to forget this game and move on. We have to start again next match.

Akshay Bhonde : "KXIP have come full circle - from losing what they should have won to winning what was considered lost cause. Wish the grounds in India could afford more real estate to allow more spectacles like we see in UAE. #bowlersforlife"

Dezz: "Jordan deserves this. Been given a very unfair trial this IPL, in and out of the side like a yo yo, despite backing Shami up with a very good super over last weekend."

Rohit: "This late surge by KXIP & KKR is making league stage really interesting, albeit challenging for top-3 who were comfortably sitting at the top until now!"

Abhijato: "Punjab - batting, bowling, fielding, and now, even nerves. They've finally gotten a grip over everything that matters. Look out other teams, they've roared back with this MOMENTUM!"

Karan: "The match was changed by a substitute "Suchit". That could have been a six and Pandey taking it to the end."

Samuel: "That Khaleel run-out perfectly summarises SRH's innings, strolling along casually, until he realises he needs to sprint, but by then it's too late."

10:09pm Stunning, stunning comeback this from KXIP. Helped along my SRH, of course, but the strangle they applied in the middle overs has paid off big time at the back end. Good bowling, backed up by good fielding and catching. It seemed the conditions held much the way they did during KXIP's innings. All the scoring happened up front, in the powerplays, and the dew didn't show up the way Warner expected. And neither did his middle order. They lost 7 for 14, starting with the wicket of last match's hero Manish Pandey, who had a struggle and a half tonight. Chris Jordan closed a door on them at the end, and Arshdeep came in and shut the other one. What a win for KXIP, their fourth in a row, and it puts them in fifth place.

Arshdeep Singh to Ahmed, OUT, run out at the striker's end as Khaleel takes a walk. Good length and just outside off, dabs this to point and literally takes a walk for the most part until he sees point sprinting in at that. It's too late by then and the direct hit has him

KK Ahmed run out 0 (2b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0

Arshdeep Singh to Ahmed, no run, slower ball, short of a length and just outside off and...defended into the off side.

Hat-trick delivery

W
Arshdeep Singh to Garg, OUT, Jordan settles under that at long-on and takes it! Kings XI are all but there. another short of a length ball, dug in as a cutter. Sitting up at off stump. He backs away and pulls off the toe-end. Jordan watches closely as he moves with the ball and lunges at the very end to take it close to the ground. It's coming off spectacularly for KXIP - they want them to hit leg side and leg side is exactly where they've tried to hit

PK Garg c Jordan b Arshdeep Singh 3 (5b 0x4 0x6) SR: 60

Garg has crossed over. 13 off 4. Fine leg comes in, midwicket was gone back.

Vinay Goyal: "Who says its just a batsmen's game? This game is a proof. Laws not withstanding, its pitch conditions and boundary length which decides the balance of the game."

W
Arshdeep Singh to Sandeep Sharma, OUT, taken at midwicket. Slower ball, short and in at off stump. Sandeep backs into the leg side and makes room. He has swinging room for the pull but it's come off the toe-end and Ashwin plukcs it running to his right

Sandeep Sharma c Ashwin b Arshdeep Singh 0 (2b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0

Sandeep is on strike. 13 off 5. The field remains the same, he's going to dig it short and into the body. Leg side is the big side.

Arshdeep Singh to Garg, 1 run, skied pull shot well in front of fine leg. They take the run. Short and into the body, gets under it and pulls aerially off the high part of the bat

Arshdeep will defend 14 off the last over. Garg has the strike. Arshdeep is around the wicket. Third man, in. Point and extra cover, in. Midwicket in. Fine leg and square leg are back.

Nick: "Jordan's had a couple of iffy games with bat and ball and we were beginning to wonder. But oh my word when he's good he's good"

Jordan to Sandeep Sharma, no run, he sends it about a yard down the pitch. It's a length ball, just outside off, there for the slog. Slog he does, but it's not his man skill. Off the under-edge and into the pitch

Won't be surprised if Sandeep Sharma's brief for this ball is to send it as far away as possible
