Heinrich Klaasen: Very pleased, it's been a long season of disappointment. Luckily, I stuck to it and finally got some reward. Pride is what gave me focus, we owe it to the fans to dish out good performances. Not trying to hit every ball for six tonight, that's what I did wrong this season. Had to improvise against Narine, had to play with his lengths which is important. (Coming in at 3) I'm a situation player, that's the idea in the room as well, if we lose wickets too early that's what it is. For me, it's just a number as to what's the ideal position is to come in.
VIP: "Win predictor is saying around 9% for KKR âșïž"
Vyankatesh Tak : "on their day, SRH batting line up just make 260+ score like their birth right. not having at least one Anchor/ settled batsmen especially in the middle order costs them in such a long tournament."
9:16pm: Third-highest IPL total of all time. An exhibition of six-hitting from SRH's big guns. A bit too late but a good way to close the season. Abhishek started with the flurry of boundaries, Head kept going. Narine and Varun weren't able to slow the tempo in the middle overs. The aggression was cut further loose when Klaasen joined him. Harshit missed his lengths, Russell went all in with yorkers at the end, that led to mixed results too. In the end, Klaasen got into the record books again, ensured every stage went at 10 or more, in fact, the last five went for 74. Tall ask for KKR, join Ashish to find out how they go.
Field set for wide yorkers
