Sai Sudharsan: I'm trying to time the ball rather than smash it. Touch is good, so I'm getting the distance. We aren't thinking about not losing wickets. Trying to react well. The way we're playing, it's helping us get good totals. I felt the wicket was a bit low and slow when we started playing. Our intent in the first six was good which was why we put up a good score. Feel the bowlers should be able to defend it.

SidB: "Given how GT was placed at one time, they'll think they finished 15 runs short. I have a feeling that either SRH will chase this down with an over to spare, or lose the game by 100 runs. No middle ground"

9:21pm: 224 is a strong score. Was quite the exhibition from GT's batters, the openers especially. It was clean hitting, orthodox shots yet the scorecard looked like Gill, Sudharsan smashed it everywhere. They whipped balls from middle stump, pulled length balls and drove crisply. It was more fours than sixes, so the risk was low. Shami was taken to the cleaners. Zeeshan bowled well, he got Sudharsan but still went over ten. The run out of Gill was anti-climactic but Buttler built on the platform with powerful and skilled hitting. If there's no dew or a Travishek show, this will be a tough ask.

Ashish: "Ekanth, When you come it at current run rate above 12, and only two wickets down around 15th over, your job is not to rotate strike. Washi has taken the whole momentum out of GT. Doesn't matter what he does now. It should have been Shahrukh and Tewatia before him in that stage." Fair enough

6
Cummins to Shahrukh Khan, SIX, Into the pitch and it's heaved across the line. Sails over wide long-on. Shortish slower ball was close to the off-side tramline. Shahrukh leant out and got it off the bottom. Went far anyway
