Josh Hazlewood with the Purple Cap: Everything feels really good, feel like I'm getting better every game. I came here after a layoff and feeling better and better with my run up every game, so feels good. It's (the pitch) a tough one to read, Stubbs obviously played really well in the end. If you miss a yorker, you could get hit. The RCB staff is a good bunch of guys, we've been winning away from home and broke the duck in the last game so feels good. It's just about the process, delivering and executing. I think the guys did really well today, especially Bhuvi.

9.20pm Delhi Capitals will take that score of 162 given the way they were 108 for 4 after 15. The pitch is slightly slow, the ball is stopping, a tough one to read Hazlewood said. But thanks to Stubbs dispatching those missed yorkers in the end in his 18-ball 34, DC have something on the board to defend and they do have the bowling to do it. The big surprise was DC had wickets in hand in the middle overs and hardly went for big shots or the gaps or over the infield until the pace bowlers came back in the end. There could be dew here because it's really hot in the day in Delhi, so really tough job ahead for DC. Are they about 15-20 runs short? I think so. And Abhimanyu will join you soon...

Phani: "For all the lofty talk KL made of realizing T20 game etc after hitting through lines on easy pitches, he has been back to old self of playing too many singles or dot balls without really showing intent to hit out.Pitch might be slow but not a run-a-ball pitch when you stayed for a 3rd of the innings."

Gert: "It will require another Ironman effort for DC to win this one. Come on, Starc!"

"DC have 3 quality spinners... nail biter ahead! super over?!" Kaig, I need some sleep

Kumar to Chameera, no run, 122.6kmh, really wide outside off, Chameera had shuffled towards off before swinging wildly against it. He misses and then reviews for a wide that wasn't called. Third umpire says he can see "some portion of the ball" inside the revised wide line outside off so it's not a wide. So a dot to end the innings and just six from this over

Great over for RCB so far, can Chameera pack a punch?

Kumar to Stubbs, OUT, 135.1kmh, miscues the drive down completely with the change of pace and he skies it to point. Hazlewood gets his bucket hands under it easily

Kumar to Stubbs, FOUR, 124.5kmh, not a lot of pace but he gets some distance with that pull square of the wicket. A couple of bounces and that crosses the rope before a fielder can get to it

Long off, long on, deep midwicket and long leg at the rope

Kumar to Stubbs, 1 run, OUT, gone at the non-striker's end! He lofts the full delivery over the bowler and they decide to go for the second. No way there was a second there, so Nigam falls well short, but they get one and Stubbs keep strike

Sonu : "Is the pitch getting better or are they playing exceptionally well? " Stubbs is middling those shots when there's a slight error from RCB

Kumar to Nigam, 1 leg bye, 116.6kmh, he across to off to paddle it fine but misses. Manages a leg bye to the leg side

RCB are slow with their over rate to start the last over in time so they can only keep four outside the circle now, not five. Fine leg comes in

Yash Dayal to Stubbs, FOUR, four to end the over down the ground! Stubbs is turning things on here. A slow attempted yorker, Stubbs uses his wide stance to pack some power into that and sends it crashing back along the carpet to beat the fielders in the deep

Yash Dayal to Stubbs, no run, finally gets one in the block hole, he sticks to his guns, and beats Stubbs outside off

Yash Dayal to Stubbs, SIX, reverse scooped this time, goes all the way! We have a crowd here, I just realised, and they're waving those flags. Low full toss on middle and leg, Stubbs was prepared for that and he reverses his bat to middle that away fine on the off side. Stunning shot

Yash Dayal to Nigam, 4 runs, chaos at the Kotla! Driven to cover and Stubbs takes off, he's sent back, Patidar has a shy at the stumps at the bowler's end and misses. The ball runs away to Kohli at the other side of the ground and he misfields for a change, gone past him for four

Dayal for the 19th, not Bhuvneshwar

Hazlewood to Stubbs, FOUR, a near-yorker lofted straight back beautifully for a one-bounce four! He errs with the length just a bit, Hazlewood, and Stubbs, who had started the over with a scoop, resorts to classical straight drive straight back over the bowler

Hazlewood to Nigam, 1 run, nearly a yorker, a really low full toss and he drives to cover for one. Really quick single because if the stumps were hit at the bowler's end, he was gone

Hazlewood to Nigam, SIX, ramped for six! Short and into the pitch around off, Nigam is already standing outside leg and he waits for the ball till the last second before sticking his bat out with perfect timing to send that sailing over the fielder in the deep

Hazlewood to Stubbs, 1 run, 136.3kmh, full toss with some pace on it, flicked down to long on and he wans two but they decide against it

Hazlewood to Stubbs, FOUR, scoops that deftly, short fine leg in the circle and he's got enough bat on that to beat Dayal for four

Ashutosh Sharma the Impact Player for Du Plessis. Batting with a bit of an open stance

Shiv: "Isn't it wiser to keep batting impact sub fresh for 2nd innings instead of bringing him with 5 overs left in 1st innings, risking injury." It's a good idea to bring in a fresh pair of legs for a someone who bowled four overs
