9.20pm So, RCB finally put on a formidable display with the bat at the Chinnaswamy. Kohli and Salt navigated the powerplay well, with the ball doing a bit for Archer, Sandeep and Farooqi. Then Padikkal joined Kohli and the two hit their fifties to set up a big finish, which was delivered by Tim David and Jitesh Sharma. Archer bowled really well for RR, as did Hasaranga, while Sandeep Sharma had a double-wicket over. Chase is set up interestingly now. Is this total enough for RCB to secure their first home win of the season, or will Royals put an end to their losing streak? Join Vishal for the start of the chase to find out.

Devdutt Padikkal: "It was a little sticky throughout the innings. It never got any easier and it will be challenging in the second innings. We had some plans even before the game. We had talked about what we anted to do when we went out to bat tonight because we haven't done very well here this season. [On his intent] I've put in a lot of hard work. Last couple of years haven't been great, I really struggled and felt that nothing was going my way. So I really worked on myself, not just mentally but also tactically to be at my A-game this season. DK [Dinesh Karthik] and Andy [Flower] have been really great. The amount of work I've done with DK over the last few months has been tremendous and the amount of knowledge and tactical insight that he has has really helped me this year."

Archer to David, 1 run, OUT, Short and wide and David can only pull it out to deep midwicket. David is well short of his ground though while trying to take the second and Jurel has all the time in the world to take the bails off
