9.10pm That's 59 from the last five and 47 from the last four, and I think KKR won't be unhappy with that. Do GT have a par score here or just below par? KKR could have conceded fewer than that because of the fielding lapses, especially from Vaibhav Arora. Otherwise it was almost a typical GT innings with a strong opening stand of 114, two solid half-centuries from the openers and 41* from Buttler. But they didn't quite accelerate with all guns blazing with so many wickets in hand. The KKR bowlers tried and tried by taking the pace off, sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. The beauty of GT's attack is they can defend it even if the pitch becomes easier to bat on from now. Will there be dew? Gill said at the toss there wouldn't be, but let's see. You can find out with Ashish in the chase...

Sai Sudharsan with the Orange Cap after going past 400 runs: At the start of the game the wicket was really slow and we found it really difficult in the powerplay. We tried to make use of the bad balls and we had great communication out there. I enjoy Gill's company, his experience also really helps me. It matters when the conditions are difficult and we try to make use of the running between the wickets. We understood the wicket was difficult so we tried to bat deep because wickets in hand is the most important thing. To be honest, we have given the bowlers a very good total to defend.

Jalan: "The way GT was placed at the mid of the innings, they would feel they are short by atleast 20-25 runs"

Kannadachi : "Feel GT are 18-26 runs short !!"

Arora to Shahrukh Khan, 2 runs, there may or may not be a run out on the last all, but the yorker was served nicely and hit into the covers. Sharp throw from the deep, and replays say Buttler has made it in time

6
Arora to Shahrukh Khan, SIX, finally Shahrukh middles it and it's his first boundary, keeps the 200 hopes alive! Perfect full toss around waist height outside off, smashed to the leg side boundary into the crowd
19.4
1
Arora to Buttler, 1 run, goes closer to the stumps now with a full toss, doesn't quote middle that swat to wide long on
19.3
4
Arora to Buttler, FOUR, another wide yorker, another one scythed although this one had a chance of being stopped at point, but Rahane's dive to his left was just not enough. No chance for deep third this time
19.2
4
Arora to Buttler, FOUR, gets the wide yorker right but Buttler does well to carve it away behind point and deep third sprints to his right to finish with a dive but it's not enough

Mid on in the circle

1
Arora to Shahrukh Khan, 1 run, slow and dipping yorker outside off, digs it out to mid off for one

Can GT really not get to 200 tonight?

Harshit Rana to Buttler, 1 run, really wide outside and Buttler shuffles away to off and almost sweeps that to deep midwicket. Just one

Harshit Rana to Shahrukh Khan, 1 run, 116.8kmh, slow offcutter outside off on length, gently bunted to long on for one

Rahul goes and SRK comes out

W
Harshit Rana to Tewatia, OUT, pace off yet again, and it does the trick because Tewatia goes for a big shot on the off side but can't connect well and the reliable Ramandeep gets under it nicely

R Tewatia c Ramandeep Singh b Harshit Rana 0 (4m 2b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0

Long on for Tewatia, but mid off in the circle

18.2
1
Harshit Rana to Buttler, 1 run, nails the yorker outside off and Buttler can't do much for it apart from digging it out to off for one
18.1
4
Harshit Rana to Buttler, FOUR, pace off but too full, and Buttler comes down as well to smash that low full toss straight down to the long-off boundary

Rana to bowl his last. More slower ones surely. No long off

Arora to Shubman Gill, OUT, taken by Rinku Singh at the cow corner! Dipping full toss around knee height and Gill swats that to leg before Rinku dives forward to pouch that nicely well inside the boundary. The clean catch gets an applause from the bowler while Gill gets an applause from his dugout

17.3
6
Arora to Shubman Gill, SIX, slow again but this one is really short and there's nobody at deep square leg. Gill can pull it without any worries and he does well to time that nicely after waiting for the slower one
