Satish: "the last ball they ran for a single (Leg bye), why is it not added to the score as the LBW was not out on review?" -- Because the ball is deemed dead once it has been given out. Probably a rule that might need a second-look because a run or a couple of runs could prove to be the eventual difference in a really crunch game...
9:14pm Wow, what a thrill-a-minute innings. It began with Kohli and Padikkal ripping Mumbai apart in the powerplay, before the hosts found a semblance of control through the middle. But then Patidar turned it up a notch as the death overs dawned, with Jitesh starring with a 19-ball 40 of his own.
MI will feel they conceded maybe 15-20 more than they would have wanted. Bumrah did what Bumrah does, but the rest travelled, especially at the death. Vignesh, who bowled just the one over, bagged the wicket of Padikkal, with Boult accounting for Salt, and Hardik removing Kohli and Livingstone. MI have the firepower to chase this, but it could be a very steep chase, especially with the ball holding a little in the pitch. Join us in a bit for the chase!
