inquisitor: "whats up with rashid lately? seems very out of form this ipl especially with sai kishore doing so much better on the same pitches" -- He did struggle to find the right pace and lengths tonight.
Calin: "With Bhuvi and Josh taking 3 wickets in the first 5 overs, I smell a last over win for RCB."
Milton: "I know this is a new pitch which was never used before. Personally i like to see this kind of Chinnaswamy pitch which gives fair justice to the bowlers. Thanks to the curator for making a sportive pitch"
Jashan : "lower order outperforming the top order and how!
9:15pm A strange, little innings, which included several missed chances and a stumping, has ended with an RCB flourish. Livingstone, Jitesh and David were the three batters to get going and all of them have ensured that RCB have something to play with. Their top order, though, failed and that was not down to a lack of intent. It was a combination of GT bowling well, and RCB just not choosing the best scoring options.
Speaking of GT, they were superb for the first seven overs. They then lost the plot a little, especially with Rashid going for 54 in his four overs. Thankfully for them, Sai Kishore continued his fine start to the season, meaning that RCB, at no point, really got away and went on a rampage. Siraj, throughout the innings, was even more impressive on his return to the Chinnaswamy, bagging Salt and Padikkal early before removing Livingstone at the death.
The Titans will be confident of chasing this down, but given the purchase on offer, RCB will also feel they can defend this. Join us in a bit for the chase!
Sai Kishore: When you bowl into the wicket, with spin, it was assisting the spinners. But you never know until both teams bowl on it. When I was bowling, I was getting purchase. (What he meant by bowling into the wicket) Having a good shape on the ball and trying to spin it as hard as I can - that is what I mean by bowling into the wicket, bowling like a proper red-ball game. (On the Krunal wicket) To be relevant in T20 cricket, you have to keep evolving. Have been practicing it for last 3-4 years, have not bowled it anywhere. Was confident to bowl it in the IPL and went with my instinct. It is like a carrom ball, so I get more dip on it.
TH David b Prasidh Krishna 32 (25m 18b 3x4 2x6) SR: 177.77
Last ball coming up. Can David get RCB up to 175? Long off, long on, deep mid wicket, deep square leg on the fence, along with sweeper cover. And to add to the drama, Prasidh runs through and does not bowl. Well well...
Big Dave: "Tim David forced to play last over all by himself - I have seen this before (Just before few days)"
Prasidh to bowl the last over. How far can RCB go?

- Tim David16 (12b)
- Bhuvneshwar Kumar1 (2b)

- Rashid Khan4-0-54-0
Last ball coming up. Surely David looks for a single to be on strike for the start of the 20th?
Bhuvneshwar is the new man in
Andrew: "180 and we have a great chase " -- Not entirely sure, but 180 might just be above-par, at least in my view, given how much help this pitch has offered
LS Livingstone c †Buttler b Mohammed Siraj 54 (61m 40b 1x4 5x6) SR: 135
160 will most likely be breached now. Can RCB power through to 175? Or even 180? Siraj to bowl the 19th
END OF OVER:18 | 20 Runs | RCB: 149/6 | RR: 8.27

Right. Three overs left. Can RCB push towards 160? That could be a very competitive score on this surface. Rashid to bowl out too

Around the wicket to Livingstone as well now
