9.20pm An excellent bowling display from a ravaged bowling attack against arguably the deadliest batting lineup in the league. Shardul Thakur led the way right from the powerplay when he got Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan in one over. Travis Head and Nitish Kumar Reddy rebuilt before Prince Yadav knocked Head over for his first IPL wicket. Klaasen started dangerously, but a lucky deflection from Prince saw him run out. After that, Shardul, Bishnoi, Rathi and Avesh did well to close it out. And now the Lucknow batters need to get the job done. Will they be able to? Shardul Thakur: "In IPL, all these things keep happening. Unfortunately few injuries here and there and there were few inquiries if I could join the camp. But LSG approached me first so I had to accept it. Zaheer Khan gave me a call. You have good and bad days, you have to go through it in cricket. IT's always good to be in the scoresheet but winning the game is important to me. I keep doing something or the other. I don't look much at the wickets column or runs column, I just want to put in match-winning performances. They are coming hard at bowlers so why not go hard at them?
