9.25pm So Royals just make 144 for 9 in their first game in Guwahati. Ellis in his first game was excellent, Harshal as well. Parag made 48, playing at his home ground. PBKS will definitely be the happier side at the half-way mark. Join Shashank soon for the start of the chase.

Harshal Patel: "It's been a see-saw [with the Purple Cap, which he now holds]. [Bumrah] is someone I have always looked up to as a competitor. I always aspire to be as good as him. It's great that we are in this competition for the purple cap. [Dipping yorker] is a difficult delivery to execute. But I have a lot of confidence in that delivery. I have to have the confidence to execute it in pressure situations. It's that kind of a delivery where if you don't have the feel you can't execute it. It gives me so many options at the death. Batter always has that in the back of the mind so I can sneak in a yorker or a length ball. [On the score] Probably 10-15 runs below par. If we keep wickets in hand and play some sensible cricket, we shall be able to chase this down."

Patel to Boult, 1 run, OUT, Flicks it away to deep midwicket. They look for two but the throw at the striker's end is a good one. Did Boult make it back? Nope, they get just the one run and Boult is out

Patel to Parag, OUT, There will be no homeground fifty for Riyan Parag! That's a dipping full toss, Parag swings across the line and is completely beaten. He is hit bang in front of the stumps on his right thigh. They take a hopeful review, but in vain. Three reds and Parag is a goner. Important innings for the team, but he would have liked to have added a few more in the final over

Ellis to Boult, no run, Full toss on leg, he whips it away to long-on. But they don't take the single, so that Parag can be on strike for the start of the final over

Jim: "Trent Boult is secretly a batsman and everyone knows it." The most entertaining one, that's for sure!

Ellis to Boult, no run, Short and wide, pace off, Boult reaches out and gets a toe end on it through to the keeper
18.4
4
Ellis to Boult, FOUR, Four more four Boulty! Don't think he knew much about that one. It was a yorker around leg, Boult was moving leg-side and looking to work it leg side. Instead it lobs up over the keeper and goes for four. PBKS review, though. They think that came off his toes. But it shows a slight inside edge as Boult went across the line!

Ellis to Boult, FOUR, Full toss outside off, Boult opens the face to steer it past the keeper on the off side. Deep third runs across and puts in the dive, but can't stop it

Ellis to Boult, no run, Boult looks to whack away a length ball outside off, but the ball stays low and Boult is beaten

Ellis to Boult, no run, Very full on leg, Boult misses his flick and is struck on the pad. Big appeal from Ellis, but the umpire isn't interested. That was likely going down leg. PBKS don't review

Who'll bowl the penultimate? Ellis it is. He has been very difficult to get away today!

Vishal Poojary: "Haha, mention of 'Toblerone'. thats a good observation!" Ha! Would love to take credit, but heard it on TV commentary the other day! (Danny Morrison it was, if I'm not wrong?)

Patel to Parag, 2 runs, On a length outside off, Parag steers it past the point fielder and they get two more

Mohit: "Raghuwanshi (Hoshangabad): How may times in this season we witnessed the catches taken near the boundary line! This speaks for the fielding standards the teams set for this season.. Good to see fielders supporting the bowlers by putting these hard efforts in the outfield!"

2
Patel to Parag, 2 runs, Low dipping full toss around off, Parag taps it square on the off side and they sprint for two

How much can Parag take RR to?

Boult the new batter

W
Patel to Ferreira, OUT, Great take by Rilee Roussow running to his left from long-off! It's full outside off, Ferreira looks to go inside out but slices it Roussow is running along the boundary rope and grabs it above his head just inches in. A quick check confirms his foot never touched the toblerone. And Rajasthan have lost their impact player

D Ferreira c Rossouw b Patel 7 (14m 8b 0x4 0x6) SR: 87.50

Davendra Kumar: "If RR loses this game there is a possibility of them not qualifying for the playoffs?" No, they have secured a playoffs spot already after yesterday's result.
