Prateek: "Is it a good score? Or below par?" Think it's around par. Himanshu will be in for the chase and you can find out if it's enough, with him. Enjoy!
Avinash: "The guys behind ur win predictor must be going crazy with all the 250 scores and not sure what to put in to the algorithm :)"
Shahrukh Khan: First time I've come at 4. I needed to bide time. It was important I rotated strike against spinners early and gave Sai the strike. Nehra told me in the bus, before the game that I'd be batting at 4. (Pitch) The ball spun a bit in the first over but it dried up in the heat. 200 is a good score but we'll need to bowl well. (His game) I just wanted to step out and hit straight against Karn. I used to go across before and had to train to go straighter. (On Sudharsan) Have played with Sai for the last four years, we've had good camaradarie. It was good to play in the middle. We wanted to get 200 and did, now we'll have to bowl well.
5:18pm A good display with the bat from GT. They didn't get off the blocks and lost their openers in the first seven but Shahrukh's promotion to No. 4 paid dividends. Sudharsan was also solid and ensured RCB's spinners didn't slow them down. On the contrary, they were taken down in the middle overs which could be the difference in the game. Siraj got Shahrukh with a gorgeous reverse-swinging yorker but there was not much of sideways movement after that. Sudharsan carried on, Miller tried going big but couldn't launch. GT managed to get through to 200 though on a pitch that isn't expected to change as the evening progresses.
