9:14pm And so, LSG stutter and stumble their way to 163. They were rocked early, losing de Kock and Padikkal to Umesh. Rahul and Stoinis then resurrected the innings. The former, though, was probably too cautious, scratching his way to 33 off 31 and perishing when he attempted a big stroke.
Stoinis fared better and registered a fifty, but he too could not carry on and give LSG the finishing kick they were after. Pooran did manage a 22-ball 32, while Badoni scored 20 off 11. But LSG, at this stage, will feel they have left a few runs out there.
As for GT, they will be largely pleased with their bowling effort. Umesh set the tone early and the spinners followed suit. Nalkande was a tad expensive but he did account for Stoinis and Rahul, which meant LSG were never able to generate the head of steam they were after. GT will be confident of chasing down 164, but they will also be mindful of the fact that LSG have never lost when defending 160-plus. Join us in a bit for the run-chase!
Umesh Yadav: (On his animated celebrations) The way the games are coming, and how I am bowling with the new ball, this was the first time I got two wickets back-to-back in the powerplay. What I worked on before the match, it worked out, so I was happy. My plan was to swing the ball. I feel that if the ball swings and if you can stick to your lines and lengths, that is the best way to get dismissals. That was what I was trying - to bowl in the right areas and to get it to swing. The wicket is a little spongy and there was a little bit of dew. I feel this (score) should be chaseable.
Can Krunal finish off with a boundary?
Johnson to bowl the final over. Extra cover, fine leg and two fielders behind point are those in the circle

Finally some momentum for LSG. A 17-run over, and LSG are now back on track for 160. Will that be enough, though? Well, that is the bare minimum they would want

Mohit to bowl the 18th. He will likely bowl the 20th too
Badoni was content to play Rashid out in that last over. Not sure that is the way to go, though, with just three overs left now and LSG well short of where they would have wanted to be
