- Heinrich Klaasen80 (34b)
- Aiden Markram42 (28b)
- Shams Mulani2-0-33-0
- Jasprit Bumrah4-0-36-0
Irfan: "A decade ago this was considered a decent ODI score! "
Vic: "Is it harsh to say that Mayank's 11 off 13 cost SRH the chance to clear 300?..."
"We have got the best groundsmen in the world," says Klaasen, "and they are producing very good wickets to bat on. A lot of pressure comes with the form. Our top order set the tempo. It was incredible to had my best mate with me [while I scored those runs]."
9.19pm SRH end up 277 for 3 - the highest total ever in the IPL, going past RCB's 263 for 5. Mumbai's plan was to save Bumrah for Klaasen. But Head and Abhishek did the early damage. Head got to his fifty off just 18 balls, the fastest for SRH. But the record was broken soon after when Abhishek brought up his off 16 balls. By comparison, Klaasen's was pedestrian, off 23 balls, but he finished on 80 off 34. We will be back with chase soon. Stay tuned.
