10.10pm What a fascinatingly poised contest. Virat Kohli's second hundred in as many innings has lifted his team to a fighting chance. Here he is:

"We'd have taken that with both hands once we were five-down and Anuj the last recognised batsman. A very competitive score and a winnable score. It's about the bowlers to execute their plans and have a crack at them. A lot of people feel my T20 cricket is declining, but I don't feel like that at all. I feel I am playing my best again, enjoying myself, hitting gaps and big ones at the end. You have to rise to the occasion when the situation demands, and I take a lot of pride in doing, and I've been doing it a while now. I feel really good in my game right now. There's enough in this pitch for our bowlers to make a dent. If we can cut down the boundaries and the twos, it's a difficult chase. Ravi's chat in the changing room was to stay in the present [when there's rain around]. I wasn't focussed on the drizzle or the other game. Just focussed on what I needed to do for my team. We're in a great position to defend this."

Well, that says it all really. Here's Himanshu to see who will claim that final play-off spot.

2
Sharma to Anuj Rawat, 2 runs, another low full toss, cuffed hard to deep midwicket, hard running gets them back for the second, and a target of 198 is something to play with in RCB's must-win game
19.5
4
Sharma to Anuj Rawat, FOUR, down the track again, clawed across the line for a lucky boundary! Shanaka went to ground early at deep midwicket to cut off the second run, but the greasy outfield took him straight past the ball!

PV: "A century at 160 SR with a single six in it.. just Kohli-class!"

19.4
6
Sharma to Anuj Rawat, SIX, low full toss, and picked up superbly over deep midwicket! If Kohli was a bit frustrated at losing the strike, that's cheered him up. Only the third six of the night... but a timely one!

Sowmya : "Do or Die situations lift elite athletes and Virat is an elite athlete!!!"

19.3
1
Sharma to Kohli, 1 run, a gallop to the pitch, met on the full, smacked across the line to deep midwicket. Kohli wants the second but Rawat says no

Sampath has the stat: Consecutive hundreds in IPL: Shikhar Dhawan, 2020 Jos Buttler, 2022 Virat Kohli, 2023

19.2
1
Sharma to Anuj Rawat, 1 run, Steps across the full toss, and Miller sprawls brilliantly at long-on! Is it a clean take? He's not sure, so it's going upstairs. Nope, I think that's burst through his fingers, but it counts as a fine diving intercept all the same, flinging himself forward. But crucially, it also means Kohli is back on strike
19.1
1
Sharma to Kohli, 1 run, full length, scooped to long-on! Back-to-back hundreds! There are not enough superlatives. On his watch, RCB are staying alive in the IPL!

2
Mohammed Shami to Anuj Rawat, 2 runs, Kohli pulls out the dive as the direct hit comes in! But he's safely home! The shy was flat from long-off, but he wanted the strike... and gets it!
18.5
1
Mohammed Shami to Kohli, 1 run, dipping on the toes, clipped hard to deep midwicket... he wants the second, he settles for one! Timed that one too well, and the Chinnaswamy has to bide its time
18.4
4
Mohammed Shami to Kohli, FOUR, back of a length, leg-sided again, slower ball, poor ball... put away! Kohli swings across his stroke and finds acres of space behind square... to move to 98
18.3
1
Mohammed Shami to Anuj Rawat, 1 run, yorker, outside off, Rawat stabs his stroke into the off side and scampers the single to get Kohli back on strike
18.2
1
Mohammed Shami to Kohli, 1 run, fuller length, attacking middle and leg, solid contact from Kohli as he takes the single to mid-on
18.1
4
Mohammed Shami to Kohli, FOUR, low full toss, that's free runs for Kohli! Swinging into the pads, his eye is so far in it's protruding out of the far side of the ball as it gets smoked off the toes through square leg!

END OF OVER:

1
Yash Dayal to Kohli, 1 run, fuller length, slower ball, comfortable clip to deep midwicket to keep the strike and keeping RCB marching towards 200
17.5
4
Yash Dayal to Kohli, FOUR, over-pitched on the legs, and Kohli's clip is sweet as a peach! There's a man lurking at short backward square, but he hasn't a prayer of getting involved there as the ball hurtles to the rope!
17.4
1
Yash Dayal to Anuj Rawat, 1 run, bottom-handed thump, out of the full length, sweetly timed but straight towards Miller at long-on
17.3
1
Yash Dayal to Kohli, 1 run, flinched out of the arm-pit, to square leg
17.2
6
Yash Dayal to Kohli, SIX, blatted into the stands! Such bat-speed! It was a reasonably full length, but just wide enough to free the arms, with a brutal swipe, hard and flat over deep midwicket
17.1
1
Yash Dayal to Anuj Rawat, 1 run, outside off, cuffed to deep point and Kohli is only interested in the single. It's all on him tonight...

Yash is back

16.5
2
Rashid Khan to Kohli, 2 runs, slammed out through deep midwicket, got that low on the bat as Rashid skidded another wicket-to-wicket delivery through at the stumps. A fine slide in the deep to save four
